Pant-Yr-Onnen is a picturesque lakeside campsite nestled on the Southern shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), near to the town of Bala.
Situated in idyllic Welsh Hills within the Eryri National Park and an International Dark Sky Reserve, this campsite offers a fantastic retreat to meet everyones needs.
The campsite has the capacity to take a number of touring Caravans, Tents, Campervans and Motorhomes.
We also have three Shepherds Huts available, each one with their own characteristics. Take a look at each individual hut description to see which suits your needs.
The site boasts some wooded areas, approximately half a mile of lakeside foreshore and a variety of pitches with some offering electric hook-ups.
There is also an opportunity to have sole use of an additional field. Please contact us for more information
Our site offers perfect Lake access for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding and open water swimming or simply walking and cycling through the stunning countryside.
If you are looking for a more relaxing time then why not sit back and simply take in the beautiful mountain and lake views by a campfire close to the lake.
When you decide that you want more; then you can enjoy the fabulous tourist attractions that are close by.

The small market town of Bala is just 3 miles away and provides shops, restaurants, leisure and water sports centres, pubs and takeaways.
A narrow-gauge railway running from LLANUWCHLLYN to BALA runs to the rear of the site and the Llangower Halt station is within easy walking distance from the campsite.
The National White Water Centre, (LL23 7NU - 5 miles from campsite) offers fantastic white water rafting adventures
Manons Riverside Cafe is located at the Centre and is open to the public, an ideal spot to enjoy a bite to eat or a freshly brewed coffee. (Dog Friendly)
Or why not enjoy a stroll along the Riverside Walk (Tryweryn Trail). Further details can be obtained from the centre.
Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) is the largest National Park in Wales. It boasts the highest mountain Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the largest natural lake. (Llyn Tegid/Bala Lake)

HOW TO FIND US: N.B. - Some SAT NAVS will tell you to turn left away from the lake within the last mile (if approaching us from the Bala end of the lake). DO NOT TURN LEFT (away from the lake) - continue along the B4403 road with the lake on your right and you will reach our entrance on your right opposite Llangower Village Hall.

All Caravans and towing vehicles need to approach the site from the Bala end of the lake as the access is narrow if coming from Llanuwchllyn.
