What our inspector says `There is so much to admire at Tehidy Holiday Park, not least of which being the attention to detail and pride which underpins all aspects. There is such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere here, no doubt much appreciated by guests. Pitches well presented with good screening ensuring privacy for guests. The central area is a lovely asset and no doubt much enjoyed by families. A well stocked shop, hard to believe it was once a forge, what a transformation! Impressive website as discussed, so helpful and informative with strong visuals. Lovely to see the recordings of animals and birds, reflecting the ethos here."
Touring and camping:
You wont find hundreds of tents, motorhomes and caravans here, all jostling for position. Just a small number of well laid-out pitches in thoughtfully-planned areas with plenty of hedges and areas to encourage wildlife.

Accommodation and camping/areas are set in small groups on the valley side with hedging and planting providing a sense of privacy and personal space.

Glamping holidays:
Glamping at Tehidy in Cornwall, offers a unique holiday experience that combines all the benefits of a traditional camping holiday with some of those added creature comforts, including heating, lockable door, WiFi, Freeview TV, fridge freezer, microwave and kettle. And our super comfy foam mattresses will ensure a good nights sleep.
We have two glamping pods at our unique holiday park in Cornwall, called Heligan and Trebah after the countys famous gardens of the same name. These two wooden cabins sleep up to 5 people and are tucked away in their own corner of our park and are set among mature trees.
For your convenience, you can park your car close to our wigwam cabin and, outside, there is a decked area with lighting, log seats, a picnic bench and BBQ area.
Caravan hire holidays:
we offer a wide range of holiday caravans for your stay with us, from a 2 bedroom caravan thats perfect for couples or small families to our top-of-the-range 3 bedroom platinum caravans that are ideal for larger families who want to holiday in style and comfort.
Our caravans are thoughtfully arranged in small groups. Each tier is surrounded by mixed hedging, creating a wildlife and flower haven. Between the caravans, youll find picnic benches with a BBQ point and rotary driers.

Situated in a truly enviable position approximately half way between St Ives and St Agnes.
Set in a sheltered, landscaped, wooded valley only 2½ miles from Portreath and Porthtowan beaches and in the heart of Cornwalls famous tin mining area, an ideal base to explore the very best that Cornwall has to offer.
Its a chance to give the car a holiday too, take advantage of the woodland walks from site, use local cycle trails, including the famous coast to coast (Tramways Trail) which is only in the next valley. A bus route passes the site and we have a request stop at the entrance, just put out your hand.

The A30 provides good access. Leave the A30 on the Redruth exit, turn right towards Porthtowan, then follow the Portreath signs. Turn left at the crossroads, drop down onto B3300 crossroads, straight over, up hill past the Cornish Arms public house and down into the valley. Tehidy Holiday Park is on your left, after the 30mph sign.
