The Forest of Dean is a compact area brimming with activities and attractions for all ages. As well as miles of scenic footpaths, cycle paths and bridle ways, there are also numerous attractions to visit: caves & mines, castles & craft shops, Vineyards, Steam railways, Gardens & an Arboretum, Puzzlewood, Go Ape etc.
The Forest of Dean is wedged between the Rivers Severn and Wye, so water sports such as kayaking & canoeing are close by as well as boat rides.
The Severn Bore is a famous natural wonder well worth seeing.
