Directions
Northward Bound Travelling North on the A429, you enter a 50 mph zone before going DOWN a hill, half way down hill turn RIGHT to Clapton on the Hill.
Southward Bound Travelling South on the A429, go past Bourton on the Water and continue UP the hill towards Northleach. Half way up the hill take a LEFT turn to Clapton and Sherborne.
Go up lane to the 'Y' junction, go straight ON for 300 yards; Field Barn is marked on RIGHT by some double gates. Camp signs on posts. It looks like a field entrance! Follow the track over the hill to the site and report to reception. Settle in!
Nearby Attractions
The Cotswolds are beautiful with many interesting villages to visit; Lower and Upper Slaughter are beautiful with rivers passing through them as well as pubs and places for a special dinner. Nearby are the 3 Rissingtons, Wyck, Little with its lost church from the plaque, and Great with the popular Lamb Inn. There are National Trust houses and gardens: like Buscot Park, Hidcote garden, Kiftsgate garden and Snowshill, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Farm Park - Adam Henson's Rare Breeds Farm, fabulous garden centres at Batsford Arboretum, Burford and Moreton, and many pubs.
Great walking everywhere with views and villages to visit. Nearby Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Burford, Cirencester, etc are a short drive. Beautiful Oxford is only an hour away with its historic colleges and spires.
