Fabulous site. Spacious flat field with amazing views.
Lovely walks from the site.
Very quiet with no road noise and great facilities even has a shop and fresh eggs for sale.
Friendly owner and a village pub with amazing food 15 mins walk away.

Quiet a big site but was really quite when we were there.
There is the usual showers, toilets, wash up sinks and elsan dump, there is a very limited shop on site, entry and exit by key fob is a good idea.
The Village of Ingbirchworth is about a 20 - 30 min walk, we went to the Fountain Village Pub & Kitchen for a meal, well worth it.
About less than 10min drive there is a place called Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream Parlour does Breakfasts and Lunch, well worth a try.
Barnsley 20-30 min drive, Cannon Hall Farm 15-20min drive.

À proper campsite. Relaxing, peaceful, kept immaculate by the friendly staff. Lovely views and a good base for walks and cycling.
Only two miles from Penistone to stock up on provisions at the Tesco Superstore but the site run a small shop at reception if you have forgot something.
15 minute walk up to Ingbirchworth Resovoir with the Fountain a lovely community pub in the village nearby.
The lanes and turn off are a bit tight but quiet but you wouldn’t want to meet something going the other way as there are no passing places.
My suggestion would be best to stick to the arrival and exit times to lower risk. We found it best to come through the village and past the pub and the Resovoir Road much less stressful.
The entrance to the site is a farm track which looked like part had been washed away and is in serious need of maintenance, we coped okay and then when you get up the slope and negotiate the entrance it opens up into this lovely campsite.
Definitely on our return list with the bikes next time.

This was our first visit to the farm and we really enjoyed it
The site is clean and tidy with plenty of space out on the field
The owners are very helpful and always got a smile on their faces
Lovely place, we're already planning out next trip.

Another great stay on this site.
It has a great location with fantastic views.
Ideal location as a cycling or walking base.
Penistone is a lovely nearby town which has a market every Thursday and has a quaint small cinema.
It's the site I visit most as its close to the garage where I have work done on my camper.
The staff are great and very helpful and the place is always spic and span.
I've been visiting the site for years.

Lovely quiet site very large field so plenty of space in beautiful countryside.
Great pubs nearby serving good food.
Visited Yorkshire Mining Museum and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
A little off the beaten track but perfect for our camping trip.
Would recommend this site.

Ingfield Fram Review
We arrived to a much better welcome than before due to Mr grumpy leaving, we were told that the chippie van would be here Friday night we didn't use it but according to other campers it was nice, we booked the paddock as our normal pitches had been taken already but let me tell you the paddock is the way to go but expensive if your on your own luckily we shared it with my brother,
Toilets and showers, were clean but the sensor for the lights needs to be on for a bit longer as when your sat down lets say lights go off and your like a mushroom in the dark I was sat flapping like a seagull but didn't come back on, good job I had my torch on the phone
The area has awesome walks straight from the site round the waters and a nice walk to the pub and Yummy Yorkshire a must but gets busy
Tescos not too far away when you need a top up of goodies
No WiFi on site but 3 and EE get 5Gs
Washing up area is ok but needs a bin there for scraps
Picture from above I have marked with purple for what I think are the best pitches
Good solid 8/10

My 2nd review.
I'm updating because they have had a change of wardens.
Had a lovely weekend.
New wardens are friendly and helpful. The only down side the pims slushy's have gone with the old warden. 😂
The toilets continue to be kept in good order, as does everything else. Reception still sells ice cream ect and a few essentials.
Not mentioned in my 1st review, there is a pub, The Fountain, its about a 20 minute walk for us. It's a lovey pub, good food and staff are friendly.
We will return to both camp and pub.
