What a find! Peaceful, clean, beautiful riverside location.
Electric hook ups and other facilities were great, especially new shower and toilet blocks.
Kids enjoyed use of pool and splash park and country paths to ‘secret’ woods.
Right on the bridge into lovely Wallingford for pubs and shops etc.
Will be back!
Ps. Hopefully exterior car park will be in action soon as there were lots of extra cars on site but realise this is temporary.

Beautifully located campsite.
Right by the river and a very quick walk into town.
Facilities good but the mend not as good as the ladies as no benches to put clothes by the shower.

On arrival there was no warden and gate padlocked with a combination lock so I had to go and pester somebody for the code and same for the toilets and bin shed.
The pitch was clean except for all the mole hills which didn't matter for the caravan but the awning and ground sheet went aver them no big deal really. But as the light faded late afternoon it became evident that there was a rat problem here. There were dozens of them running about and in the morning I realised they were getting into the awning and chewed a hole in the groundsheet and other items so we had to blitz the place with bleach and soapy water and get everything off the ground.
Stuck it out for the duration of our stay but the toilets were filthy with two pans and three sinks out of action and the showers were passable but only lukewarm. They were cleaned by the end os the week once.
There was no one to go to if a problem arose. Others tried to contact the managers of the site but no joy there. You are on your own here if you get noisy neighbours or worse.
Nevertheless it is in a great location and if you can put up with rats and the various inconveniences you will find the other residents are generally long time visitors and are very helpful lovely people unlike the managers of the site. Great place for fishermen and walkers etc.
I shall be writing to the environment agency and the council about the rat problem which nearly spoiled the trip for us.

Lovely site only let down by toilet block not maintained as would have expected.
Great size pitches,
Kids could play no problem.
Young staff friendly, but site needs a handyman around to sort out issues regarding toilet blocks.

This is a lovely site which is right next to the River Thames and within easy walking distance from the town.
The outdoor pool is great to have on site too, with family times and lane swimming.

Great location next to the river and outside pool, with a short walk into Wallingford.
The check in is with the people at the pool reception so arrive before it closes, they give you a list of codes for the gates toilets etc.
We booked the pool on the 'better' website and thoroughly enjoyed a cool swim. 2 washing up sinks and the the showers where fine.

Lovely peaceful site in a beautiful setting.
Very relaxed and unstructured. The facilities are good, plenty of toilets and showers.
There is a bit of noise from aircraft, probably from RAF Benson but nothing to spoil the holiday.
The heated outdoor pool plus water park is fantastic for children. You pay separately for swimming.
Great little spot.

Lovely location next to the river, close to shops and restaurants. Brilliant to have a swimming pool on site.
The only down fall is that there is little cleaning done if any at all. The swimming pool disabled shower cubicle, toilets and changing room are not clean. The Campsite toilets and shower block are also a big let down too.
During the summer holidays, every summer that we have visited, there tends to be a very large group of friends/ campers who take up half of the plots and it can feel like they dominate the place just by their sheer numbers.
After everything I've said, we still like to visit there every year, but we know what to expect and it's nice just for a few days.
