This site offers almost exactly what we want from a campsite, barbecues, campfires and dogs allowed, a rural location but close enough to town - in nature but not too isolated.
We spent a week there, keeping fresh food cool was a problem, there is a freezer available for cool blocks but no refrigerator.
Toilets, pot washing and showers satisfactory, never queued. Lots of space and efficient administration /booking.
Clear and simple pricing - good value, no charges for extras like trailer and gazebo.
Staff/owners were very pleasant, available and approachable.

A very spacious site. Toilet & shower kept clean. Owners pleasant and helpful. Site situated well away from the road. Open fire allowed and wood available from a small shop.
2-3 miles from the sea.
Great location for a walking holiday.
Weymouth is a nice town, well worth the visit, however parking is a hit and miss affair.
The shop needs to be enlarged.
These small changes didn't change our very enjoyable stay.
We will visit again.

Really good site
Fantastic views and we were allowed an off the ground campfire on our second night which was a reason for a revisit to this site.
Highly recommended.

Lovely campsite - great location, water cold in afternoon but apart from that great facilities with showers and toilets.
Would book again. Not too noisy at night.
Allowed fires. Dogs stay on leads

Back again to White horse campsite this year.
A lot quieter this time which was nice.
The whole family had a great time playing games kite flying and relaxing.
We used the smaller shower blocks this year. Hot water every time and showers and toilets very clean.
We will be back next year. 😁😁

We were a group of friends with 4 campervans & loved this site.
Flat fields, great views, campfire, lovely walks, pubs.
Basic facilities - loos & showers but we needed nothing more.

The site is stunning, and very peaceful, good amenities, cleaned regularly, and lots of toilet paper, it was just a lovely campsite.
And also the surrounding areas are perfect we found a little beach not far from the camp site and great local pubs.

Basic campsite, just what we like. Large big flat fields.
Showers were a bit hit or miss, sometimes hot other times freezing cold.
A large group at which I believe to be a separate campsite very close were up to the early hours partying. Singing shouting and loud music till the early hours. Not the fault of White horse campsite but still not what we wanted.

We had an amazing time over 6 nights, campfire allowed with reasonable priced logs on site.
Toilets and showers were basic and cleaned on a regular basis.
Very spacious site highly recommended.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, clean showers and toilets, we have no complaints for our stay here!
Only small downside is volume of showers and toilets. If you go at peak times to shower then expect a queue like many other sites.
