 Absolutely fantastic place to stay, providing you accept that there is no hook-up and the other other facilities are very basic.
The fishing is excellent and everyone I met was very friendly.
I love this place and it has become my go to place when I need some me time.

Great site
Great staff
Great fishing on a very well stocked and well maintained.
Great walks
Would recommend for a single visit or as us in a campervan group
Plenty of space.

Stayed at this site for 5 nights and we love it here. The site is really tidy.
Brilliant fishing lake and a pub 10 minute walk away.
Will definitely return, there is no EHU, but managed quite well with solar panel.
Cheap at £20 per night which includes fishing.
Showers are clean and good.
There's plenty of walks in the countryside and the river Trent is close by.

Great place, friendly, and perfect for nearly wild camping, and fishing if you like that,
Lovely place and good value,
Small walk from friendly pub with home made food,
Close to a historical market town of retford, and not far in car from sherwood forest, robinhood

Great site and great fishing in well stocked lake.
Great value at £10 per night and £5 a day fishing.
Friendly owners.
Basic facility's but clean and tidy. Will be retuning soon.

Our first foray after months of lockdown and an escape from my paranoia and what a wonderful peaceful place.
Sadly my wife managed somehow to twist her back so our trip was curtailed, but if you need peace and tranquillity and even maggot dangling this is the place.
