Lovely site, good ground for tent pegs/camping.
Great for a mixed group with vans and tents, would also be good for non-campers in the bus or pods.
Fires allowed, plenty of space, good showers, not too many rules.
All good!

We booked Pod Pod and Tiny House which were perfect for 3 of us providing lots of space. Both had very comfortable beds, very clean and all the stuff needed for a couple of nights away.
The site is well kept and great location easy walk into the village - pub was friendly and super food.
New washing facilities now in place along with a cafe. Unfortunately the latter wasn't open but we knew in advance of booking so we took essentials with us.
Booked again in a few weeks time.

Overpriced at £31 for a grass pitch albeit with EHU.
Shower facilities pretty grim with very grimy shower curtains and black grouting in dire need of replacement.

We stayed 4 nights at Ivybank and had a fantastic time.
Lots of walks available close by and after taking on The Mosaic Trail we treated ourselves to a wood fired hot tub for the evening, it was brilliant.
The owner was really helpful with advice and information and the site was immaculate.
We already have and would definitely recommend Ivybank.

A rustic site that is ideal for those wishing to get away from sterile camp sites. All the pitches are grassed and you can choose where you want to pitch.
We had a hook-up and it is recommended that you have a 25m cable and levelling ramps. A great view can be had in all directions.
The toilet and shower block is unisex, but has plentiful hot water. I did point out to a staff member that some signage for the water and shower trays would be useful to prevent any come-back in case of accidents.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to chat. The site is just a short walk (half mile) from the village of Kirby Malzeard, where the shops available can cater for most needs and an excellent butchers.
The local pub is welcoming and has great food.

A friendly welcome, a simple but well-kept site, and quiet after 10pm. This depends on your fellow campers of course, but the management encourage considerate camping (noisy parties who refuse to comply, will be helped off site by tractor if necessary👍)
The pitches were on level to gently sloping grass. The ground soft and fairly smooth, if you're in a tent.
4 mins walk from the village, with a proper pub serving simple food done well, and excellent ales.
The facilities were basic and rustic, but quite serviceable. We visited over a bank holiday, and whilst the site was busy it wasn't overly packed like many sites. However, there were queues for the washrooms.
There were two family washrooms, with shower, loo, and basin. Two additional showers. And 7 or 8 additional ladies & gents loos (wooden latrine huts. )
The ladies had additional basins, but the gents didn't, so it was quite limited if you wanted a wash/shave/tooth brush. One wash-up, plus a further kitchenette with kettle, microwave, fridge and sink.
If this site was £5/night/person, I'd give it full marks. However, at £15, I don't think it was good enough for my (Yorkshireman's) money.

Lovely friendly site. Great facilities, especially the heated shower rooms in February. Excellent value for money. We were in a micro-camper with awning.
Short walk to the nearest pub, village shops and garage. Great area for cycling/walking. Some lovely villages/city of Ripon to explore a short drive away.
A fab three night stay. Would stay here again.
Very good 👍. Rob.

Great place, nice and pleasant site. What more do you want?
Definitely go back if I'm in the area.
Vastly improved since I was there before Covid.
Thank you

An absolute gem of a campsite, quiet location not over grounded and no wardens bothered us all weekend.
No fussing around with marked pitches just camp where you wanted and open fires were allowed.
Other campers were friendly and appeared to be the place to go for children as there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.
There is a little walk into the village across some fields and a play park to be had for the children and a local pub for the adults not to mention the local shop, butchers and chip shop.
Wash facilities are basic and may not appeal to many but the toilets flush and the water in the showers were hot…what more can you ask for.
Definitely worth a second visit.
