 Lovely well cared for site fabulous location
Didn’t meet any of the staff but their as an informative board
Only thing I couldn’t find was somewhere for grey waste

Very nice campsite. Washing/ toilet facilities clean but not enough for size of site plus long walk from parts of site.
Nearest pub is along A381 from campsite and not a recommended walk especially with children or dogs.
No public footpaths in the area so walking restricted.

Great site. New toilet/shower building, extremely clean.
Lovely views, nice short grass without clippings sticking to your feet!
Will definitely share with friends etc, .
Didn't actually meet owners.

Nice site, good location, great views.
New facilities, but very limited; only 2 toilets and 2 showers for a large site, with long walks and waits.
We will return but use our own facilities

Allocated a level site with superb views over farmlands, hills and the estuary.
Tranquil location, with an easy walk or bus ride into lovely Salcombe.
Sites are large with loads of space between campers.
Toilets and shower facilities are tops, clean with hot showers.

Easy, online booking procedure and booked pitches clearly displayed on notice board at entrance for new arrivals.
There is a good view across to the top of the Salcombe estuary as the site is near the top of a hill. Unfortunately for us this was its only downfall as a strong 30mph wind buffeted our tent relentlessly during our stay.
The sheltered pitches under the top hedge were taken and despite moving to the bottom of the site it was still far from a peaceful stay.
The site slopes and is well maintained. There is a newly planted central hedge which will help provide improved shelter in time.
The wash, shower and toilet block is first class. Staff and owners extremely helpful.
There are fantastic walks to Hope Cove, Bolt Tail, Bolt Head and Salcombe although take care when walking down the narrow lanes as there isn't a great deal of passing room.

The best campsite we have ever stayed at, fantastic views and amazing shower and toilet block and a freezer for your blocks for which sadly somebody took one of ours!
Due to the bad storm we had we only stayed 5 nights not 7 but will definitely be back.
I would just also like to say that in-line with covid it was very well done.

Great facilities on site, spotlessly clean.
Not too far away from town centre.
Pitch sizes good. Great communications and easy booking.
Highly recommend.

Another Great stay at Ilton Farm Campsite, very Covid safe, was given our pitch number on a board and was told to make our way to the pitch. Pitch was massive and well kept.
This site was approximately 2 miles from Salcombe, we did manage to walk it there and back. But the rest of the week we got the bus there and back (top of the road). 1 per hour!
Pros: Big pitch, good location, extremely clean, quiet, great owners, shop within 10 mins walk, village within 10-15 mins walk with co-op and 2 pubs.
Very Clean toilet block, in the mens we had 2 showers, 2 toilets and urinals. (never had to queue though). There is also a utility room with washing facility, dryer, washer, ironing board etc. Plus phone charging for non electric campers
