What a wonderful site spotlessly clean well maintained and the owners Linda and rob absolutely faultless, so friendly and so helpful,

This site is a diamond so peaceful the views are stunning,

The showers and toilets spotless the dog walk is Brill,

You can buy fresh chicken or duck eggs every morning absolutely superb,

We cannot wait to return soon well done you have a 1st class site here,

Plus Linda was amazing with our border collie who she called big dog

We came here with our motorhome and parents with their motorhome for a week away. Incredibly welcoming and friendly host Linda who will always stop to chat.

Small site, facilities are more than adequate with hard standing for those of us who don’t want to park on grass.

There’s even an old truck on site converted into accommodation for those who don’t want to bring their own! Electric hook up is available, there’s a chemical toilet emptying facility, plenty of bins and recycling, drinking water as well as a ‘toilet’ block with separate toilet and shower facilities for male and female together with a washing up area and small information area.

There are also books which you can swap should you wish to have a quiet read and a few games to borrow too. Views are fabulous, the lanes around this area are very quiet too.

There’s a short dog walk on site - watch out for fairy doors - and plenty of lanes and footpaths around for longer walks, especially if you like hills. If you want manicured lawns, brand new facilities and everything perfect then look elsewhere, if you want fantastic accommodation and facilities at an incredibly good price, then we definitely recommend this.

We will be back!

A delightful, small site, where the owners seem to have thought of everything from spare blankets to an electric kettle.

It is very clean - cleaned regularly throughout the day. One side of the site is for members only and the other side for other campers.

Couldn't wish for anything more. And it's very reasonably priced.

This was a really good campsite with clean Toilets and Showers, There were some level hardstanding and some grass pitches.

The owners were friendly and helpful and were to be seen on site everyday. The views from this site were beautiful and it made up for the narrow road to get there.

It was well signposted and there was plenty of room to pull off the road before opening the campsite gate.

A tranquil site and we would certainly go back there.

This is a lovely friendly site with beautiful views. The road to it is a bit narrow and you have to hope nobody is coming the other way.

There are a few hard standings so it is best to ask for this when booking. The toilets and showers are basic but clean and pleasant.

There is nothing too much trouble for Linda and Rob Moore to help you with and they are available on site everyday.

A beautiful peaceful campsite we would definitely go again

Pleasant compact site hidden away up a lane. Delightful owner who came to welcome us and give us a run down of what is on offer both on site and locally.

Fresh eggs and herbs available also a selection of plants to purchase for a song if required.

Lovely views of the hills from the site but well protected from the winds. Facilities basic but adequate.

Site had a wonderful friendly feel about it. Close to Carmarthen town with plenty of retail therapy if that is your thing.

Probably the best site we've stayed on in our two years of caravanning!

Very friendly welcome and help/advice/information throughout our stay.

The facilities are spot-on if you're not looking for luxury. Toilets, showers (free), washing up, drinking water and chemical disposal all in tip-top condition.

Beautiful surroundings and only ten minutes from the centre of Carmarthen with all its facilities. Beaches, National Botanic Garden Wales and all the attractions of West Wales in easy reach.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and really looking forward to returning.

What a wonderful, idyllic campsite. The owners are the perfect hosts, brimming with information about the surrounding area, selling fantastic eggs, nothing is too much trouble.

The site itself is small and secluded, just what we wanted as a get away from the city. Though it is in a perfect location to get out and explore the region. Pembrey Country Park/beach is a must.

We loved how the Meadow Camping has been laid out with mown areas for pitches and the meadow grasses left long inbetween. I don't understand how some people on other sites have moaned about the noise of the neighbouring cows. Its the countryside for heaven's sake.

There is only one toilet and shower per sex and the water does have a tendency to jump from hot to cold during a shower, but if that and the cows is all that people have to complain about then Linda and Rob are definitely on to a winner.

We especially liked the inclusion of a small freezer, kettle etc. Very handy.

We are definitely going back and will have trouble deciding between staying in the converted truck or camping in the lower wooded area (if the compost toilet has been installed).

A delightful place to stay with all the facilities necessary for an enjoyable stay. The site is carefully and thoughtfully maintained and visitors are made most welcome.

There are many local attractions especially the. National Botanic Garden of Wales which is about ten miles distant, and has interest for all ages and abilities.

The surrounding countryside is very beautiful.

The campsite is ideal if you are after a small peaceful site away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the coast and attractions of the area. With only 5 caravan pitches and a separate camping field up the hill this site gives you plenty of space to spread out without upsetting your neighbour.

The site is run by a family which couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They regularly cleaned, maintained the site and checked we were all happy. Over the Easter weekend they even organised an Easter Egg Hunt around the site for the kids which were staying which is a great touch which you just don't get with larger sites.

Facilities were ideal and are perfect for the scale of the site, a regularly cleaned and maintained toilet block with showers for each gender along with washing up and general facilities too.

Even though the site is on the side of a hill the pitches were flat and very well drained. We had rain all night before we left but had no problems getting our large heavy caravan off the pitch. The owners were always around to help and offered extra grunt using their 4x4 and anti slip mats if we needed it. So if you do only have 2 wheel drive then you still wouldn't have problems here.

We will be returning here again as this was one of the best trips we've had and with plenty more to do and see this is an ideal base for us.
