When we arrived we were given all the information we needed and everything was explained very well.
The pitch was well marked out. The ground was very level.
Toilets and showers were clean with hot water. Could have done with a bigger area to dry off and get dressed in after the shower but that is being fussy.
Lots of grass area for the kids to play ball games on.
Over all a very clean well organised quiet site.

Friendly reception. 9 hole golf course and course fishing pretty good.
Unfortunately food was not available in the Club house otherwise it would have been 10 out of 10.

Small site with level grass pitches right next to the golf course.
Basic loos and showers (no wash up area).
Friendly staff in the golf club house - where we had a quick beer and my husband arranged to borrow clubs and play a round.
Quiet at night.

Very disappointed with the site -Toilets/ Showers are in a Porta cabin - only 2 showers in Ladies and one leaking everywhere- requires renovation - no shop - restaurant closed but still wanted £20 a night without electricity (They have got it so wrong- hence only 5 units on in August)

Excellent site, golf available with clubhouse. Airstrip close by so some small planes & Helicoptors flying in & out during the day but not a nuisance. Good lake for fishing.
Down side close to trading estate & middle of nowhere. Used our own facilities.
But we loved the site & will be returning in the very near future.

Great location within easy distance for visiting places of interest in Dorset /Somerset by bike or car
New people just taken over management and were friendly and helpful
Superb site if you enjoy fishing and golf Large area for your own activities too
We were only campers on site so had sole use of washing /shower/loo facilities All spotless
However during high season these facilities might not be adequate eg one dishwashing sink

What a GEM, this site was amazing valve for what it gave, golf, fishing, excellent wild life, it was quiet, clean and you could tell what other campers thought they all highly praised the the owners for offering such a high class site. Well done 👍
Also it’s ideal for aircraft lovers the near by airfield offers amazing views over Somerset/ Dorset, have lunch watching the aircraft flying, Stourhead also near.
Will definitely return 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Loved it, nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Rod the owners. We were allowed on the golf course with a buggy at 7 am ( they gave us the key to it ) completely on our own as a novice golfer I had no pressure with me holding players up.
The course is very well maintained. We live an hour away but for us it was a brilliant base to go to other places Sherborne castle, Godshill the famous Hovis advert hill.
Actually really looking forward to going again soon and can’t wait to be there when it’s all open.
Especially when they can do their carvery I have heard so much about.
Highly recommend it.
