This CL is one of my favourites, lovely clean site and very helpful friendly owners.
Some nice walks directly from the site and a visit to Louth is a must, steeped in history.
The good lady and myself will definitely be back soon.

Very quiet and relaxed site.
Secluded field with electric hook up, clean toilets,
Sue was very helpful and even gave us a small bag of doggie treats on our arrival. !
Close to Louth, the sea and the wolds.

Lovely clean friendly site. Sheltered by mature hedges from the wind - which we needed!
Sue was very helpful and kept everything in top condition.
The loos were a joy, spacious, nicely decorated and this was a certified location! Way better then we could have hoped for.
An easy quiet bike ride into Louth.
Highly recommended.

This is by far the best 5 van site we have visited in over 30 years of caravanning. The owners are really helpful and friendly. The caravans are well spaced and on well-kept flat ground.
All facilities were easily accessible and well tended. The meadow immediately adjacent to the site is owned and kept by the site owners and provides a leisurely walk.
We were pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable cost per night given what we have paid in the past for Caravan Club sites.
Our experience at Halfway House has changed the way in which we will caravan in future.

Stayed for two nights recently during this COVID-19 period and what a lovely site, quiet, huge grassed area for each unit with electric hookup.
Owners had covered the guidelines to keep everyone safe. The toilet facilities spotless,
The owners were extremely welcoming, explained everything and nothing was too much trouble.
Very good value. Local shops only a few miles away, .
Close to other areas to visit, definitely highly recommended.
Will definitely be back to visit again.

This was our first outing of 2020 after the COVID19 "lockdown".
We could'nt have picked a better site, the owners made us feel very welcome.
The pitches are level & well spaced, the grass is well cut and there is a lovely "meadow" to walk the dog in. The grass in the meadow had been cut into zig-zag winding paths. Our little dog {a Jack Russell Terrier} loved exploring all the different ways around. Great fun.
The two "unisex" toilets were immaculately clean {there is only two toilets, but bear in mind this is an "only five vans" site}.
The site is within easy reach of Louth, which seemed to us to be a charming little town, we spent a pleasant afternoon wandering around there {it would have been even more pleasant had it not been for all the Covid19 rules/regulations etc}
Whilst there we also visited Mablethorpe which seems to be a pleasant little resort {the seal sanctuary there is well worth a visit}. It also has some lovely beaches.
There is a Co-Op a couple of miles down the road from the site in Grimolby, which proved handy.
The site is easy to find. Our sat-nav took us straight there and access {in & out}is easy.
Great value at £42 for 3 nights {July 2020 price}
We are really looking forward to visiting this fantastic little site again.

This site is gorgeous, beautifully kept and extremely clean. Sue the owner is lovely and friendly and very helpful.
On showing me round Sue certainly saved the best till last, the meadow which is also a dog exercise field left me speechless, it's huge, surrounded by hedges and secure fencing and a lovely tree lined area at the top of the field. My 6 dogs absolutely loved it at Halfway House Caravan Site and it was so reassuring that I could let them run around the meadow area knowing they were safe as it's fenced in and secure and there's no roads to cross, it's part of the campsite. A dog poo bin is situated at the top of the field and I must say I never saw any dog poo anywhere.
The pitches are grassed and level and very large and all have ehu. A fresh water tap is also positioned for easy access and recycling bins alongside general waste bins are easy access also. The toilets (2) are just through a gate from the main pitches and are large with hot water and immaculately clean. Tourist information, places to visit and general information including takeaway menu's if you don't fancy cooking.
Chemical disposal is well placed and easily accessible on the main field.
We loved staying and so did our dogs and can't wait to go back.
I give 10 **********
