We stayed in Redwood bell tent. Very very comfortable.
Peaceful and restful with no traffic noise at night.
Lots of space inside and outside the tent.
It has a very comfortable bed and there's plenty of USB/13amp power sockets.
Showers were great (hot and enough space to undress and dry off).
The washing up hut was very clean and well maintained with kettle, fridge, freezer, sinks and a microwave.
There was even a little herb garden for campsite guests to use.
Nice touches around the site to decorate the boundaries and walkways. An information hut with visitor pamphlets and local information.
Local takeaways deliver to the campsite.
Grass and gravel borders well cared for with cascading flower baskets in full bloom.
The site owners are so nice and caring.
We were on a motorbike tour and forgot we needed to take our own cutlery, we joked to the owner about local shops not selling cutlery and he instantly stopped what he was doing to help with supplying what we needed.
An absolutely comfortable, relaxing camp site.
We would go again for sure

Large family group of 8 in 3 different accommodation types from tent, to camper and caravan all in a very large shared pitch giving us all space to stretch out relax and play.
The children loved the park and fields to play. Firepits provided and wood could be purchased on site, a lot cheaper than the local shops which was good.
Facilities a little basic but clean and showers were hot with constant running water.
Campers kitchen had a fridgefreezer and microwave. Prosecco on ice available for that little treat.
David are Sharon, the wardens, were chatty, nice and always on hand to help.
A great few days.

Beautiful well maintained campsite run by lovely people.
Level ground to pitch tent on and so peaceful with extremely clean toilet/shower block with 1 male and 1 female shower.
They now also have an additional unisex shower which would be handy if site had been busier. Hot showers and nice washing up area with fridge and freezer if you choose to use it.
10 mins to Alton Towers, 5 mins to Londis shop for basics and 10 mins to Asda/ Morrisons.
Will definitely be returning next year.

Really enjoyed our stay.
Very clean, beautiful views, big pitches, really liked the motion sensor lights at night to guide you to the toilets.
Fridge and freezer were very useful.
Just an all round lovely site.

Lovely campsite with fabulous views.
Staff were amazing, went above and beyond to place our 3 pitches together ❤️ they were very friendly but not intrusive.
Toilets and showers were great, regularly cleaned and free hot showers with plenty of changing space.
Would definitely recommend.
Great location for alton towers only 15 mins away.

- Small site on gently sloping hillside
- Nice relaxed atmosphere
- We did not call on help of site warden(s) during our two night stay but got impression that friendly assistance was on hand if needed.
- Certainly not an officious feel
- Fantastic views of surrounding countryside, especially from pitches 8-12
- Large pitches, nearly all gently sloping
- Pitches in main field all separated by grass 'left to grow long' which added to nice camperly feel
- Distant low hum from dual carriageway to the south
- Country Lane runs along south side of site. One car every few minutes
- Shower blocks (separate huts for men and women) in nice enclosed area - but not up 'immaculate, concrete block built' standard of a lot of sites nowadays. Didn't bother us - 'It's camping after all' but could be an issue if this is an important thing for you. (hot water in showers but not from hand basin taps when we visited. Didn't ask - but I suspect this was a 'usual thing').
- Site was on edge of village (facing out towards countryside).
- No shop on site or in village (as far as we could see from cursory look) - but 10 mins. Straightforward/fast driving along good roads takes you to 'Big Tesco' and Aldi
- Overhead power line crosses lower side of site
- Didn't see evidence of multi-bin recycling facilities (but might have missed)
- Free fire pit provided at all sites
- Central area of main field left without pitches - which adds to 'nice feel' of site - some basic children playground apparatus
- A couple of OK village pubs within (decent) walking distance. (say 45(ish)mins. Along 'old railway line') - nice walk, but longish distance
In summary- we very much enjoyed the feeling of the site and would definitely come again - but maybe not recommend resoundingly to friends who place high priority on pristine shower block facilities and/or who wanted absolutely dead-quiet 'out in the countryside' site.

What a little gem of a site this is, huge pitches, lovely clean showers/toilets. The views are outstanding.
Lots of care taken to make sure that rubbish bins and entrance gate sanitised, each pitch given disinfectant spray bottles to use every time.
I lovely friendly welcome from John the on site owner.

Absolutely love this site. This is my 3rd visit here now and I'll be back lots more.
The owners are lovely and the views are amazing. Such a quiet site.
Love the way the pitches are currently out of the long grass. Thank you x
