Cunningsburgh (Aithsvoe) Marina Caravan Park - is one of the common community owned small caravan / motorhome parks, which shares its facilities with local fishermen & users of the marina ….
It looks out over the marina, and the pitches, with ehu, are hard tarmac standings, so not suitable for awnings ….
It has a well equipped kitchen for communal use, and the toilets & electric showers were clean & adequate ….
We paid £20 per night, & the only minor problem was the arrival of several local ‘boy racers’ who turned up one night, & parked in a group in the middle of the park with their engines running, until eventually they departed ….

Nice clean facilities.
Clear signposting from main road.
By a small marina with views over water.
Walked on jetty to watch oystercatchers collecting mussels.
Very quiet site accepts bookings.
15 minutes to Lerwick.
Note no tent area.

Loved the Cunningsburgh site.
Very organised upon early arrival from ferry which was great. No one there but name on our pitch.
Very clean and well kept facilities and was able to contact someone when enquiring about washing machine.
Would definitely recommend this site when touring the south part of Shetland

Felt safe and secure. Jimee was lovely and made sure my lovely spot was kept for my whole stay.
The stay was peaceful, safe, and absolutely gorgeous.
Pay for washing and shower but no problem as so clean and nice. Cooker kettle and use your own pots.
Cannot fault it at all!

Really good site and at £20 per night not that expensive when you see what you get.
Fully equipped kitchen with cooking and washing up facilities.
Washing machine, tumble drier and showers on meters but £1 lasts for ages.
Recommended.

Lovely site which is part of a marina. Excellent facilities.
Close to Lerwick.
Quite windy and dark when we arrived.
Very clear and easy to follow instructions in the building.
Good time during our visit.

Lovely site by a marina. Showers and other facilities were great.
An easy booking system and payment suited to these times.
Would stay longer if there was a next time, but used the site mainly as a stopover for the ferry.

We Very much enjoyed out stay here. The site was in a very scenic location.
The facilities were excellent and the voluntary warden very helpful. Our advance booking was efficiently dealt with.
It is worth noting that the showers are operated by inserting £1 coins.
