 Lovely little campsite tucked away from main roads.
Very friendly staff and the facilities are immaculate.
Walkable to a local pub although we did not attempt it as we were only there for two days.
We hope to return one day. Recommended.

Just returned from very enjoyable 'long weekend' stay at Oakmoor
- Coffee van (pastries and coffees) visits 2-3 times per week (8. 30am arrival)
- One night per week was 'local meat BBQ food'
- One night per week was 'Fairy Cod Mother' (fish and chips) - apparently very good but, we were not on site for that.
- very friendly husband and wife hosts
- very clean and well appointed shower block
- peaceful site outside Bovey Tracey (only distant hum of road in background)
- Lots of stuff to do in the area (we only took time for visits to Bovey Tracey and Parke (very close 5-10 mins in car) but if we stayed longer we would been off on day trips to coast and Dartmoor.
I would not hesitate to recommend this site to people and/or visit again

First time visiting this excellent site and will definitely be going back.
We booked fairly last minute and when we arrived were allocated a fab pitch with lots of sunshine.
The owners can't do enough to help you, they are fantastic!
The facilities are immaculate and a lot of hard work was going on to maintain that. Excellent showers and loos.
Quiet, peaceful, adults only, dog friendly. Lots of walks nearby in beautiful countryside.
Easy access to Dartmoor and coast from here.
Very nice coffee from the visiting van on Saturday morning.
We got a good 4g signal too.
We loved it.

Lovely quiet site, not far from main road links and amazing Dartmoor!

Really nice site with plenty of space on each pitch.
Toilets cleaned twice daily.
Parents with children kept to park rules so play on the big green stopped at 9pm.
Friendly and helpful owners certainly recommend

Good clean site (Debbie has OCD for cleaning)
Bit over the top if you ask me as you cannot shower or use the toilet if they are cleaning (no notice to say this but one would be helpful)
Bit noisy at times but was sorted when Debbie & Allan were on site but one night could not contact them and had to deal with it ourselves
Nice people and had a good holiday although the weather was really hot 🥵 and we were limited to explore

Great site. The owners are extremely welcoming and the site is well run.
Facilities were spotless with lovely hot showers.
We had an enjoyable 4 nights here visiting friends and local attractions.
The pitches are generous and level making setting up very easy.
We'll be back!

Excellent location and facilities, they could easily have an extra dozen pitches but keep the centre free as a play area.
Very clean facilities, I don't think I've stayed anywhere that cleaned as often as here!
The only negative from my perspective is the push button showers which are too hot for my taste with no ability to adjust the temperature.
Decent enough pub only 20 minutes walk away (mostly off-road).
It was surprisingly quiet even over the Easter bank holiday weekend. No issues with noise late at night unlike some campsites.
