What a great site, greeted on arrival by Gareth the owner, what a lovely polite and very helpful guy, nothing was too much trouble and a mind of information.
Once introduced to Gareth he never forgets your name both my wife and I have never had such a good positive greeting at any other site that we have stayed at.
The site is within walking distance of the local village, which has pubs, fish & chip shop(very nice too) cafes, a small Morrison convenience store post office, a stone baked pizza takeaway near the beach /harbour and a couple of hotels who also serve meals to none residents. A bit of somthing for everyone.
We would highly recommend this site to anyone. It is clean and well kept and has a great atmosphere. A credit to the owner without a doubt.
We will definitely return sooner rather than later.
Thanks

We had the most amazing weekend at Gareth’s campsite. The campsite is in such a good location, a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the beach which is ideal if you have a boat/jet ski to launch.
The campsite itself is really pretty, the facilities are always clean and the grass is well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for Gareth, he always checks to make sure you’re okay and is on hand to provide any extras you may need.
We travelled as a group and had a lovely little secluded spot in the corner with a fire pit. We made lots of amazing memories and I’m sure we will definitely be back in the future!

A great spot and wonderfully managed but somehow I wish people would stop giving such glowing reviews about Gareth and his brilliant site - every single word is true but we should try and keep it a secret, otherwise we'll never manage to find a vacancy😉👍🤣
Can I do a Spinal Tap and turn the score above 10?

Lovely well kept site close to nice little harbour village.
Gareth the owner couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly.
Next time we're out this way happily revisit the site.

This is one of the best sites we have ever stayed at (in 40+ years).
Gareth is the most helpful and friendly site owner ever, assisting us to set up on arrival, pack up at the end of our stay, and generally being helpful in between.
The site and facilities are spotless and well maintained.
The location is very handy for the village, the coast and coastal path, and other locations in the North of Anglesey.
Highly recommended.

The site is in a beautiful area, short walking distance to the village and harbour. The coastal walk is lovely and not difficult.
There are a couple of cafes in the village and three pubs, all friendly.
The site itself is well looked after, very clean toilets and shower and Gareth is a polite, helpful and friendly owner.
The entrance to the site isn't obvious until you are on it so a sign in advance would help as any traffic behind you make a swing into the site difficult. The exit further down is wider and easier.
Despite the weather we enjoyed our stay very much the only thing I would mention is the site is larger and busier than expected but still a pleasant, friendly stay.

Stayed here while walking the Anglesey Coastal Path.
Great site and Gareth was very helpful indeed, providing an electric cable to my tent (not something I carry as a backpacker - I'm used to having to charge my phone in toilet blocks so this was a luxury!) and even a cup of coffee in the morning!
Nice clean toilet/shower block (showers are £1 and plenty long enough) with classical music playing, which I enjoyed.
Location is good - a short walk into Cemaes which has various facilities and shops.

Gareth who runs Dolydd is an angel masquerading as a human. Nothing is too much for him, he even ran an extension cable to my tiny tent and donated to my charity.
Lovely showers, toilets v clean, very pleasant and walking distance from beaches and amenities.
Perfect, can't praise highly enough.

Site is fantastic, and particularly so due to Gareth's fantastic hospitality. Nothing is too much travel and Gareth genuinely cares everyone is having a good stay.
The site is a great size (I like smaller sites with more open space) with very clean facilities. Particularly a fan of classical fm in the facilities block!
Great site for walking down into the town. Perfect on a sunny day.
