This is a lovely little site. It's easy to walk to the beach. If you want to park at Highcliff castle and walk through the nature reserve along the cliff tops to Mudeford it's easy too.
You can park at the castle for 4hrs. If you want more time then pay by the parking app or call them.
Sue and John are lovely hosts and sue makes time to meet her guests personally. They have heaps of local knowledge and are very kind. Buses, walks, a local pub all on your doorstep.
We would definitely stay again. Many thanks sue and John. A*

Amazing owners and fantastic location, close to the cost and local attractions. Good walks and great bus links to all the local towns.
If you're after a quiet adults only site and enjoy walking, then Oak Cottage CL site is for you.
There are no toilets on site but everything else is catered for. So if you are self sufficient, you’ll have a great time.
Grass pitches only but easy to access located near a pub got our vote.
We will be back…

Good facilities. Reasonably level grass.
Very close to train lines which are very busy all day and into the night. Not peaceful surroundings.
Friendly owners. Near to pub

As you enter the access to the site it is quite tight especially for twin axle but it is do able with care. It isn't a big site, just enough for 5 vans and car.
Extremely friendly, Sue greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We could hear the trains but I didn't find it an issue, they didn't rattle and make the ground shake.
It was a lovely tucked away quiet site in driving distance of lots of different places and Sue has good knowledge and very informative.
Negative for us were that the walks were mainly along the pavement on roadside as its in housing area and have to drive everywhere.
However we would return for central location and friendliness.
I also think Sue could put the price up slightly as it is definitely a bargain price.

We really enjoyed our stay at this site.
Good location for visiting places such as Hurst castle, the New Forest, Bournemouth and for motorcycle enthusiasts Sammy Miller's Motorcycle Museum.
The owners were very helpful and friendly and we shall definitely be visiting this site again.

Spent a week at this delightful little gem, camping in motorhome, it was very useful having bus stops nearby,
good pub a short walk from site,
Sue greeted us on arrival, and gave us useful information.
We were lucky her hens were laying some delicious free range eggs,
we will I hope return again next year, thank you Sue.

A lovely site tucked away up a quiet lane off Walkford Road.
Facilities are situated adjacent to the stable (Refuse bins and fresh water) with CDP across a small paddock). The site is well looked after.
The very helpful owner provided written information about the area (Pub, bus stops etc) and a suggested walk taking in two Nature Reserves, Beach and coastal path to Mudiford. A detour to Highcliffe Castle is worthwhile.
There is some occasional train noise but it is not a problem.
With its location, bus stops and decent Pub 100 yards away, this site is worth a visit.
Highly recommended.
