Location is 10/10, beautiful surroundings, being on the river is a massive bonus.

The site is very well kept and clean.

Customer service is amazing, always there for anything you need.

Beautiful swimming pool on site.

Short walk along the river to a pub and small shop.

We have now been visiting each year and will definitely be returning next year.

Site is in a lovely location,

It was really quiet because it was late in the season (no schoolkids).

Excellent facilities and the owners are really nice and helpful

Excellent site. 1 minute walk to the water. Ample facilities. Friendly and helpful owners.

10 minute walk, 5 by bike, to the Lion pub at Thorne village where food is wonderful and staff very friendly.

A good base to see this area of the Broads. Highly recommended.

There were no children there at the time so I cannot mark that, hence a rating of 1!

Lovely to return to this back to nature holiday park. Both Pertrina and Donnie made us very welcome.

My husband and brother in law both fisherman as a hobby so happy to "do their thing" and my Sister and I had a general catch up. In next caravan to us. We Doing a little craft work and use of the outdoor pool.

On the negative side the roads coming into the site are narrow and at times scary.

A clock on the wall by poolside would be useful.

The 2nd field facilities were ideal and clean. The first field facilities much more dated and run down.

Well done overall for our lovely holiday.

The site is very well kept and the showers and toilets are immaculate. It is in the middle of nowhere but that suits us fine as we went on holiday for peace and relaxation.

Make sure you take your own provisions as there is no shop. There is no on site entertainment but it is ideal for walkers and cyclists as it is close to the Weavers Way and is situated on the Norfolk Broads.

Caister and Yarmouth are a few miles away and at Potter Heigham there is a nice cafe for breakfast and afternoon tea. Acle is not too far and there is a supermarket there.

We had a lovely week

A wonderful site - I fully recommend. Clean and quiet, with great outdoor pool. Owners very helpful.

Ideal location to beaches and situated right on the Broads. Great size pitches. Super walk to the local village pub from the site along the water edge (great food too)

We will definitely go back - I could not fault anything we had a great stay

Lovely quiet simple site, large plots, clean facilities, lovely clean little swimming pool and toddler pool.

Excellent free access to the broads for canoes/paddle boards.

Narrow road access for last few hundred metres onto site.

Excellent value for money!

Bureside was a lovely camp site located next to the river and away from any roads, but within easy reach of Potter Heigham, Acle, the coast and Norwich.

The showers and toilets were always clean and there were plenty of toilets. The pool was an added bonus and cost £2pp to use.

The owners were helpful and very pleasant.

We would return here.

Just had a fabulous weekend here with friends and my 3 year old.

Facilities were spotless and there's two toilet blocks to choose from.

The site has a private lake for fishing which one of our group used and he had plenty of catches and it's a lovely location.

It's also right beside the river with a lovely walk through to the village of Thurne. Very isolated otherwise.

A couple of swings for the kids, but plenty of space for them to kick a ball around.

Price was good at £20 a night (£24 with electric).

Swimming pool looked nice but couldn't use it at the moment due to the virus restrictions. Looking forward to returning when its open and making the most of it, as we will definitely be back!

August Bank Holiday Weekend so lucky to get one of the last few spaces.

A bit doubtful because it was Gt Yarmouth but it’s stuck in the middle of nowhere (10 miles away from Yarmouth thankfully !) but close enough to a lovely village pub (The Lion at Thurne - good food and drink selections) and near the rivers so really happy.

Spacious site with good facilities and an outdoor swimming pool which was a bonus with temperatures at 30c.

Reception has a good stock of cold drinks and a warm welcome

Would definitely recommend and return to this site
