Staff were friendly and always willing to help above and beyond.
Site itself was beautifully kept and facilities were excellent (possibly the best shower I've seen in a site).

We booked online, quick and easy.
Arrival is contactless-ANPR opens the gates and you receive an email with all details before you arrive (reception is manned if needed).
Immaculate site with 24 hardstanding pitches, most need levellers. All have ehu and the water and chem disposal. Are close by.
Toilets/showers are super clean and warm.
It's a 10-15 minute walk into town, a few shops and cafes - not really much to hold you there. The river walk is beautiful and you can cross the bridge back to the campsite.
Can't fault the site, as a base for further afield it's really good.

Stayed here for a week on a level, tidy pitch.
The site in common with all Woods Leisure sites was spotless, clean toilets, showers etc.
Staff all very friendly.
Blairgowrie itself is a lovely wee town with all sorts of shops inc. A Tesco superstore, many pubs and takeaways. We used the Wetherspoons a few times for cheap food.
Our tourer developed a water leak at the filter, we sourced a new part in Alyth. The caravan shop there is an Alladin's cave of bits and bobs should you need anything.
We would stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent site. It is set right next to houses but once you are in the Holiday Park you would never know. The pitches are well spaced out and the facilities are immaculate. All the staff are very friendly. You are located next to the lodges and the static caravans are just behind. There are 2 parks, one for smaller children and one for older children. There is no shop on site but just outside the entrance is a Cost Cutter and there is a large Tesco and Co-op in town which is within walking distance. I would recommend eating at the Cross Inn as food and service excellent. We would certainly return

Stayed here for a week in june, this site is a mixed review.
Good points :-
Site amenities were spotless and good showers.
Site well maintained and clean.
Staff very polite and helpful.
Bad points:-
Pitch was very sloped indeed, there was other motorhomes on site with lumps of wood under levelling blocks to keep them level.
Layout of pitches a bit mismatched.
Launderette a joke, it cost us £6 to dry 2 days washing for 2 adults.
Town centre has normal shops, big tescos with petrol station short drive away, lots to do in area.
Would probably only come back to this site as a overnight stop whilst touring the area.

Returned to this site again to find the same high standard of facilities. Give this site a go, you won't be disappointed. The toilets are amongst the best we have come across. A short walk takes you into the town where there are plenty pubs ( a new Wetherspoons ). The Cartwheel pub is worth a visit, there usually something on at the weekend, a friendly bunch of locals who will keep you amused.
Little's restaurant on the corner of the square is excellent, not cheap but top notch grub served in a very welcoming atmosphere.
Blairgowrie is a great wee town - give it a visit.

Stayed here on winter seasonal pitch and would recommend as ideal base for ski slopes. Friendly and welcoming staff, well maintained toilets & showers which were always clean and with plenty of hot water, nice grounds even during winter.
Although there are a lot of static caravans, we found the park to be very quiet even over Christmas/New Year holiday period.
Blairgowrie short downhill walk from park - good range of shops and eating places.
Short drive to Glenshee for ski-ing - added bonus that ski hire shop is at entrance to park.

The majority of units on this big hillside site are statics, but midweek October meant there were few people staying in them and the whole park was very quiet. The touring area is on flat sunny ground near the entrance to the site, with the majority of the hardstands occupied by seasonal caravans - we just turned up and got a pitch but this tactic might not work in the height of the season. Very friendly, helpful and efficient check-in. There's a folder you can borrow with info about all the things to do, and a map of the many local walks (you can buy a copy at the TIC in town). £19 pn for EHU was good value. Dog walk around the edge of the site, and open fields on two sides (one with stubble OK for dog walking). We were mightily impressed by the facilities - spotless modern bathrooms as good as a hotel's, each with walk-in shower, toilet, posh sink/tap combo and very hot radiator; the separate toilet block had a toilet and sink in each room. You're given one key, so visits do have to be co-ordinated. Scotmid shop near to the site. Otherwise, it's a 20 min walk into town along the riverside for local shops (Irvine the butcher is recommended), or there's a Tesco which has fuel. Good recycling. And being on the edge of a small town with little light pollution, we had good dark star-watching skies. We enjoyed our short stay.

Had a fantastic long bank holiday weekend at Blairgowrie Holiday Park. There were quite a large crowd of friends and relatives, some of us in our tourers, one in their motorhome, and two in lodges.
Friendly, helpful staff at reception. Touring pitches are fairly standard size, there was ample room for van and awning and it was possible to park the car in the grass verge in between the vans. The pitch we had was slightly on a slope downwards towards the front of the van, an could be slightly more level, but nothing too major No serviced pitches but the facilities were second to none. Nice little wooden hut for fresh water and grey waste. Fantastic block just a very short walk from the touring pitches. This block is obviously extremely new and is exceptionally clean and well laid out. The washing up area has two lovely toilet cubicles just adjacent to them, the chemical waste disposal area was one of the best we've ever seen, extremely sanitary, a proper sluice. It had hand sanitising gel, a heater and puffed out air freshener regularly! Hubby said it was the best area he had seen. Shower/ toilets were spotless, real showers, loads of space. Piped radio music, lovely and warm. Cannot recommend the shower blocks highly enough.
There were two lovely play parks on the site, a larger one for the older kids, a smaller one for the under 12s. Our boys loved it. There is also a park with a football pitch/goals a 2 minute walk walk away.
Blairgowrie has everything you could need, a large Tesco, a Co-op, plenty interesting wee shops, cafés, etc. I can really really recommend the Old Cross Inn just on the exit of Blairgowrie towards Alyth, we had the Sunday carvery and it was fantastic. There is also a swimming pool, and some lovely walks through the town. Glenshee is a short drive away.
The site is immaculate, there was always staff out and about, grass cutting and tending to the grounds.
Can't recommend this site highly enough, first time here and it won't be the last.
