I really don't understand how people rave so highly about this site - it's one of the worst I've ever been on!
The website talks about hardstanding pitches - well they are sort of, but not like you expect, little more than rubble thrown down on the ground and barely visible through the weeds. Most of the pitches are rocky and very uneven. There are a small number of better pitches but on a busy day you would be very lucky to nab one of those.
All pitches are little more than clearings amongst the trees so are rough and very muddy in wet weather. The facilities are awful, made from potacabins and huts.
Trying to find a decent pitch when the site is crowded is nigh on impossible - it's free for all!
Washing up facilities are dire as are they beneath a ramshackle shelter. Taps are loose, plugs not existant, water only warm (any time of day), overflows not even plumbed in.
Showers are very small and very old. On the plus side they are clean, but only if get there soon after cleaning, the rest of the time the floors are swimming and everything is grubby. The electric showers are fine and not restricted to time (one plus point).
There are a couple of additional toilets which are old portaloos with no hot running water or dryers.
Plus points: I received a warm, friendly welcome. The showers are okay (not the cubicles).

Great campsite have visited a few times and would highly Recommend
Mix of hard pitches for vans, flats open grass and also sheltered tree covered tent pitching areas
In an amazing setting in the foot of glencoe mountains and a river running alongside with great facilities and managed to get a decent phone signal.

Site with great view. Good location for exploring Glencoe and Ranoch.
Sanitarie was okay, wifi worked good, but only near the kiosk. We stayed there with a tent and a rooftop-tent and had a dog with us.
We will come again.

Amazing location, staff were more than helpful,
Great experience and will definitely be back.
Had a few personal issues with my own equipment which staff helped me with without hesitation even when clearly busy!

Wonderful campsite in a glorious location.
I really liked the unstructured approach - pitch where you like, just be mindful of a few basic (but totally understandable and practical) house rules, such as noise, vehicles on hard standing and so on.
Staff helpful and laid back.
Unquestionably I will go again.

The staff were amazing, they even offered to run us to a local garage when we needed to fix our van.
They're constantly working around the site to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The setting of the campsite is spectacular and perfect for all types of campers.
The kids there looked like they were having so much fun.
We'll be back soon.

Been coming here for years and I say it's the best camping site in the whole of Scotland
It lies in the picturesque Glencoe everyday it looks stunning,
Facilities are good, and no strict rules, very relaxing place,
Dog friendly, campfire friendly (but be sensible)
Will always be back there.
