We found raco a nice site, plenty of people on there, receptionist was very helpful,
Ideal place you want to go into benidorm if not plenty bars restaurants across the road, restaurant on site,
Our Motorhome is s 6mts, had no problem getting on the pitch, our friend's in 9mts, he struggled to get on his pitch,
Had a enjoyable few nights stay.

Nice site good location. Toilets and showers clean.
We were charged over 100 euros for electric for 14 nights, It only costs me that amount to run a 5 bed house for 2 months in the UK so draw your own conclusion on that one. Electric is free if you stay for 1 month or more apparently.
Would stay there again if in Benidorm but wouldn't connect to the electric.

Camping Raco is in a great location for central Benidorm and Lavante beach area.
There are pubs and eating places right outside the camp entrance.
Also nice shop and bar on site. Pitches are all 8x10 metres or 10x8 meters.
Toilets and showers are of a very high standard. Nice walk to Benidorm Levante beach.
If you like Benidorm this site will not disappoint. Would love to come back sometime.

Well kept site in good location bus service to Benidorm cheap and frequent.
Very clean shower block well stocked shop restaurant with terraces pool area very nice.
The only negative is very poor WiFi which is not cheap we only stayed for 2 nights so put up with it but wouldn't be happy if we had stayed longer

We've stayed on this site for 3 months in 2018 and 2 months last year and we love it. The site is huge but the way it is laid out with every pitch having it's own boundary it doesn't give you a big site impression.
The views of the mountains are absolutely stunning especially in the evenings when the sun shines on them. The site facilities are fantastic, great shop (literally sells everything), newly refurbished toilets/showers, bar, pool area and the restaurant is terrific.
On the opposite side of the road there are a great selection of bars and restaurants so there's no need to go right into the centre of town.
Busses run frequently into Benidorm town centre with the bus stop right outside the main entrance of the site.
Can't wait to get back to this site, we were due to be there in April until July but because of the Covid19 pandemic this has been cancelled for this year. However, if the weather at the tail end of the year becomes too depressing and we can get a ferry to Santander we'll be off.

First time there. Found it excellent. Very clean toilets. Pool area, terrace to the bar.
Entertainment friendly and included everyone. Found it quite expensive for a tent having no hook up.
The children loved the pools which are kept very clean as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a great weekend and will be back again soon.

This is an update really. We have been going to Raco for the last 8 years for 2 months in the summer so some things have gradually changed. Sun beds and loungers are now allowed round the pool area a wristband system for the pool is also in place to stop all and sundry using it.
Each pitch now has its own water supply and waste water drain. A new security barrier has been installed to try and stop people just walking onto the site. The toilet block is as clean as ever and toilet paper has been installed in each cubicle- luxury !
Just one complaint the internet connection is rubbish and not worth paying for but there are ways round it. The children's playground could do with a refurb it hasn't been done for years.
Having said all that we love it at Raco its so well placed for everywhere and will be back this year and for the foreseeable future.

In answer to other post regards inflatables, whilst these may add to the enjoyment of children they also add to the annoyance of others. Not sure of the sunbed situation though.
I submit my review as a person that lives in Benidorm on a permanent basis and so hear all sides of arguments for and against campsite policies and without bias.

Have just returned from a fortnights holiday on this site. Wonderful site, clean toilets, loads of hot water in shower block, pitches are large and there are two pools and a bar/restaurant. Staff are helpful and speak english.
Couple of points to note - for some reason the site does not allow sunbeds around the pool or inflatables in the pool - don't really understand the reasoning for this - surely sunbeds would do less damage to the grass than people laid around on the floor? Also inflatables would add to the enjoyment around the pool for the kids.
Other than that cannot fault this site. Its location is close to Benidorm centre (less than 30 minutes slow walk), very close to Benidorm Palace (approx 5 mins walk). There are a few bars/shops nearby if you don't want to walk into the centre. There are frequent busses down to the centre (number 10, about every 15-20 mins, cost 1E 40 cents one way but I guess you could get a return ticket - we never bothered as we used to talk down and only get a bus back if necessary), a taxi from Benidorm centre cost us about 8 Euros (after 12)
Its also easy to get to from the main routes, no driving through Benidorm centre.
Dogs were allowed on the site and we took two with us. They need loads of shade so if you taking dogs pick a shady pitch.
Would definitely go back to this site - I think it was a good choice (perhaps management may have had a rethink on the pool situation by then. )

We stayed here for 7 nights. A large site very well run, pitches are large but as cars must be parked on the pitch + awning + large caravan, so positioning is very important,
Shower blocks are well placed very well maintained and never had to wait. TV point on pitch. WIFI available at a cost of €10.00 for a week and the site installs an antenna on your pitch to enable good reception,
We will definitely return maybe in November this year
