This place is great. Nothing to dislike. No tiny little showers. But 2 big wet rooms for showering. All free. None of this 50p in a meter nonsense.

Tea van on site open every morning and evening. Great food. Very reasonable priced too. Nice and quiet. No noise. Wifi covers the entire field. Again free. Most campsites charge for wifi.

The signal is brilliant. Good phone signal too. Huge covered area to eat your food if it rains with tables and chairs.

New 20x10 foot shed with drinks machines. Good toilets. Glamping if you do not fancy camping.

Free taxi to the pub and back.

Some of the best motorcycle roads to ride in Wales, and all for £10 a night.

This place simply cannot be beaten.

Pleasant site situated in open country side.

Food van on site selling nicely cooked food (burgers chips and breakfasts) very friendly owners and a peaceful site.

Access road is narrow but I had no problem towing a 520 sized van.

Nicely situated between New Quay on the coast and the national botanic gardens giving plenty of options for days out.

All the facilities were clean and we would happily stay again if in the area.

Coming from Aberystwyth direction this is a difficult place to find. Turn off at Synod inn on A487 and it is 13 miles along country back roads and narrow lanes.

It is easier coming from Carmarthen direction to the campsite. The field is on a slight slope.

The lady that runs the campsite Karen puts a lot of hours in to make this place a great campsite.

Karen has a catering van on site which she opens 8am to 10am. Then 6pm to 8pm. The food is lovely.

There are 2 showers. 4 toilets. And 3 cabins. Washing up facilities. Recycling bins. And it is in a very peaceful location.

I paid £10 a night for myself and a tent on a motorcycle which was good value. This was my second visit.

And I will always return whenever I'm in the Carmarthen area.

I stayed one night while touring Wales by motorcycle.

This site has got to be about the quietest place I have ever stayed. I will admit that I was the only person there so other campers were not an issue but apart from the occasional passing tractor or 4X4, all you can hear is nature and farm animals, oh and the occasional snoring pig.

Also, the show of stars after dark was staggering.

The site itself has well cut grass and really good, modern and spotlessly clean facilities.

One point though is that at the time of writing there was no hot water feed to any of the wash basins, either in the shower rooms or the newly built toilet block. I didn't use the showers, I assume they are fine and there is hot water in the dishwashing area so I used that to fill a basin.

Karen is an excellent host and gave me suggestions of where I might like to pitch my tent, then left me to get on with it.

Hot food is available and despite me being the only camper, Karen cooked me a chicken burger and chips. Which was delicious. The chips were huge and there we so many I barely managed to eat them all, but waste not, want not.

This is a good no bells and whistles site and I will almost certainly camp there again for a more thorough exploration of West Wales.

Just the kind of site we love adults only and not crowded with large grass pitches

Perfectly adequate and very clean amenities

The food truck on site is a wonderful idea as this site is tucked away in a very remote area although we did not use it as had brought plenty of food with us

The owners are lovely and very helpful and have a relaxed attitude but expect respect of property and other campers at all times

Friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble. Suggested local eateries and places to visit.

Quiet rural setting. Just what we needed

Nice field, grass was wet a lot of the time.

The toilets was clean and facilities are good

Was woken up at 10 am with the owner playing the saucepan, she did remind me of the drummer from iron maiden!

Overall a good place to go if you want to go to bed early

Had a lovely Monday to Friday stay

Karen is very helpful and makes an amazing bacon roll on the food van, everything I had was amazing but especially the bacon rolls

The sunset is amazing

I found this place by chance and was a little worried about it being noisy but it’s anything but, we had a very relaxing stay and everyone on site was friendly

Stayed here for 4 days on my motorcycle, to start with the owners are bikers which is great and they are very friendly and come out to chat to everyone, the on site catering wagon is a bonus if you don't want to cook for yourself and very reasonable prices.

The views are stunning at sunset and in the morning, the toilet and shower blocks are limited but clean and modern and there is washing up facilities and a fridge and USB charging facilities for your electrical stuff.

The campsite is situated in a great spot for the coast and its only £10 a night for a tent whatever the size,

All in all a great site run by great people

This place is lovely, in a wonderful rural location. Excellent showers and WiFi and because of its rural location, very few screaming kids.

You will hear Donkeys, Sheep and other creatures to remind you that you are in the countryside. The beach is only 20 minutes away too.
