Visited two chimmneys, nice clean site, toilets and showers good, playpark fab for little ones and the pool was nice. Only gripe- no papers in the site shops and noise from other campers EARLY morning. Def camp there again. Plenty of space per unit and nice takeaway outlet on site.

August 2005 This is the second time we have visited this site, and we have always had a great time. We have always stayed in the small field at the top of the site, which is excellent and sheltered for the kids to play in the park, without me having to worry about them. The toilet facilities at the top field are always clean and a warden does come around to check noise levels and kick the kids out of the play area when it is dark. The launderette facilities are a bit ropey, and I thought that even though I washed things, the machines didn't get clean. Dryers are expensive, at 50p or £1 a go depending on which machine you use. Swimming pool was good, although at some points very overcrowded. I heard a rumour that the top field was going to be filled with statics next year, which is a big shame. I would not go back if this is the case, as the field at the front of the park is very open and has pylons buzzing overhead.

July 2005 Visited the site with two young children for two nights (monday & tuesday). Camp site very clean, swimming pool small but useable. Entertainment not exactly riveting, on the monday the bloke with his organ managed to clear the bar very early on, although I have to add I don't think he actually played it once. He just used preset tunes and the CD on it. The outdoor play area was well looked after. Pitches are all marked and very reasonably sized. The field itself is huge and flat can see kids long way off. Expensive at £20 per night, but would go back for sure, but this time take the kids bikes as such a large flat area for them.

July 2005 The roads leading to the site were a little on the narrow side, but not single track by any means. Just a bit tight if you have a wide motorhome or caravan. The entrance to the park itself was really welcoming, nice and clear and wide enough to swing in from any direction. On arrival, if you don't know where you are going, you have to pull up and go to reception, but there are no bays or waiting area to pull into while you do this, so you have to pull over as far as you can to allow others to pass.
The touring/camping fields were fairly large, and we had one of the five hard standing pitches, which cost us £18 per night for three adults. It had water, electricity and a small drain where you could empty your washing up water or drain off grey water. I'm told there was a motorhome service point, but not sure exactly where that was. Our pitch was large, but everyone kept walking across it to get to the toilet block. Although it was nice to be so close to them, it would have been nice to have had a trellis or some kind of screen infront of the doors, so that anyone on our pitch didn't have a prime view into the toilets, watching people washing etc.
Didn't hear too much noise, even at night. Some of the grass pitches looked rather small to us. One group had a large tent with a car next to it. The pitch next door would have been lucky to get just one caravan on, (with no room for a car beside it) or a tunnel tent (with difficulty & no room for guy lines).
The pitches really needed marking out, even if only sprayed on the ground, as people seemed to take as much space as they needed, even if it meant others lost out. The pool looked ok, although was empty of people when we saw it.
There is a burger bar/van type arrangement with an out door seating area. The prices and food were excellent, alhough a proper marquee to eat under would have been better than the make shift affair with constantly oversized flapping tarpaulin over it.
The park was very well kept and very clean. I'd happily go back there again.

June 2005 We arrived at the campsite to be met by friendly staff. The campsite facilities were immaculate. My 2 boys (10+13) took advantage of the pool and the amusement arcade. It was a real family friendly place to be.
I will DEFINATELY be going back, hopefully in a couple of weeks. This was my 1st camping experience and it was a really positive one. My parents dog enjoyed it too.

June 2005 Campsite was very clean and tidy, Showers were free and very clean. Pool was under cover and nice and warm for little ones, (but under eighteens have to be watched) so i had to go to the pool with my 8, 10, 13 years old and sit with them, some perants don't want to do this ( but i suppose it's for safty as there is no one to watch them).
Nothing was open for us, (no bar only weekends). The shop was closed, airport close by so there were airplanes going over until 9 at night. We were right by a road so it was noisy.
We would not visit this camp site again as there was nothing for the children to do and nothing for us to do unless we was staying for the weekend, I must say the site for pitching was lovely and pegs went in really easy.

May 2005 Stayed here May half term week, for 3 nights. It was our first camping trip and had chosen the site because of its good reviews. I can only echo what previous reviews have said. A wonderful friendly, very clean site with level pitches and excellent facilities, in a good location near to some lovely beaches which the children loved.
Will definitely stay here again. Only complaint was the hairdryer in the ladies didn't work, (lost a couple of 20p's trying) but as they had hand dryers still managed to get hair dry!

April 2005 We went for mayday bank holiday for 2 nights and had a really good time there are 2 lovely play areas , covered in swimming pool with smaller pool for little ones. Lovely area for taking the dog although they are not allowing dogs from 2006. Lovely well stocked shop, arcade room & nice clubhouse where there is always something happening at night. The takeaway was also very nice so all in all a very good site. We are going back again next bank holiday.

August 2004 This was our first camping experience, we had never camped before - let alone with 2 small children.
The campsite was excellent, it was clean, child friendly and had plenty of sandy beaches to visit in the local area.
We would definately recommend it and will be going back ourselves.

23rd Aug 2004 Two chimneys was small compact but absolutley lovely, the checking in was nice and easy which was pleasing with all the screaming kids in the car, the pitches easy to find and we had quite a bit of room even tho it did fill up quite quick probably as it seemed very popular. The pools were really lovely and everything we in the same area. Showers were effecient and spotless it was just a shame there was only three in the block as there were queues, nevertheless, we really enjoyed it and will DEFINATLEY go back again. RECOMMENDED!!
