We have just returned from an overnight stay and wished we could have have stayed longer. You are shown to your pitch by the warden and he makes sure you are happy before he leaves.
The site is very well set out, mostly hardstanding with an area of grass next to you as well.
Showers where very clean and lots of them, water pressure was brilliant lovely and hot as well.
This site is right next to the Thames with some pitches overlooking the river.
There is a garage just across the road from the site which has a spar shop very well stocked and sells most things, also a cashpoint is there.
There are two pubs serving food within 5 mins from campsite both very nice and again overlooking the Thames.
This site will be on our list to go and stay longer next time we are down that way.

Great site. Friendly staff.
Stayed in half term.
Facilities excellent, showers and toilets really good. Pitches great as well, although some did look a bit boggy, but it was February
Lovely position next to the river with some really nice walks round the site.
Two pubs right next to the site as well.
We drove to the station most days, about five minute drive away and went into London.
We know on some of the reviews it mentions the noise from planes, and yes, when you first arrive you do notice them, but after a day or so, they didn't bother us at all.
Overall, first class site for visiting, well all kinds of attractions.
My only complaint, and this is nothing to do with the site, was the price of the train tickets into London.
Looking forward to going back.

We stayed 3 adults, 3 children and a dog. We received a warm welcome on arrival although there was a slight delay in booking in due to it being half term.
We had a nice pitch on the 'island' and had the little stream behind us and a great view of the Thames.
We visited the pub over the bridge and had some nice food.
As other people mentioned the facilities were first class as long as you use the central block. The toilets and showers near the reception are a little older and more dated.
Water was piping hot and perfect for October! and filling hot water bottles.
There is a park on the other side of the river ideal for running your dog around.
Only downside is the planes which do interrupt your sleep early in the morning and late at night.
A well recommended site.

This is a lovely site! if you have bikes take them and bike along the river either way it is great it is an eye opener how the other half live.
The site is very pretty our caravan looked over the river and it was lovely to watch the boats go by. We did see the fox and parakeets in the trees along with the squirrels and rabbits and Egyptian geese who we fed every morning.
The shower bock was spotless at all times and there was plenty of them. The wardens were helpful and as the rest of the rewiews say this site was very close to thorpe park, windsor and london.
The station at weybridge ran a train 4 times each hour to london waterloo at a cost of £9.70 return we did not visit as the pope was there at the time.(Which we forgot about)
There are two lovely pubs within walking distance one either end of the bridge both served food.
Lovely picnic area on the island in the corner.
Sainsburys 1 mile away.
Only downside is this site is expensive.
The planes were amazing ! they did not keep us awake this is a plane spotters dream!
Lovely Lovely site!

Had a lovely four night break here, mainly to visit Legoland. Excellent site, easy to find, facilities were very clean. Strong freeview and mobile phone reception. Our children loved the swings and slide. As other reviewers have said the WiFi is pretty expensive
The plane noise does get a bit annoying in the evening, they don't seem to stop until nearly 11pm. Having said that we had the best pitch on the site, next to a decked area overlooking Chertsey Bridge and we would visit again as it's an ideal base for the local theme parks.

Our party, as usual, was made up of me (Dad), the wife; our two boys aged 10 & 7 and our doggie.
Driving to the site using the sites directions and map to hand proved to be without incident. My Sat-Nav continually, during our stay, would call out a left hand turn but it really is straight on so I would recommend the Sites directions and map from the C&CC site until you are familiar with this junction as it is in-between the M25 and Chertsey C&CC Site.
Check-in was painless and easy and all our party, including our dog, was made very welcome by the Warden(s). We were shown to a pitch described by the Warden as quiet and thus we were shown to pitch No.44. Once the Warden had told us where all the amities were and we were happy with everything, the Warden left us to get set-up.
We had booked a hard-standing pitch but pegging out the awning was easy but the ground was firm enough to hold the pegs perfectly.
Chertsey C&CC Site allows for a tranquil setting alongside the Thames, so long as you can ignore the planes using Heathrow and the low volume drone of the nearby M3. The planes caused no disturbance to me, the kids or our dog but the wife woke many times early in the morning due to the early arrivals and departures.
We had ample use of the sites playground and also of the Recreation Room where there are TV’s, Table tennis and giant dominos. There is no games field or similar provided so those older than 12 who find the smallish playground not to their taste may become bored at times
Near-to the site and only across the road bridge spanning the river, is a lovely meadow with grazing cows but the riverbank path runs around the meadow and allows for a lovely dog walk.
The sites main Facilities block was at all times clean, warm and welcoming. However, this is a very large site and we visited over a Bank Holiday weekend when the site was very full although no totally full and we did see some queuing at peak times for the showers.
Nearby attractions we visited was: The Look Out Discovery Centre which we would highly recommended, Legoland Winsor which again we would recommend and also The Malden and District Society of Model Engineers Ltd (www.Malden-dsme.Co.Uk) and this is highly recommended for any child.
During our stay, we found both Vodafone mobile and 3G mobile broadband signals to be of excellent strength.
All in all, we were very happy with Chertsey C&CC site, but the charges per adult and kids at high season seemed just a bit more expensive than usual but the fox constantly trying to run off with people’s shoes at night led to some interesting discoveries next morning.

Great location just 5 mnutes off the M25 with good access. The site is very clean and well maintained. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.
We picked the site due the location for activities, ie thorpe Park, Chessington, Lego Land, Windsor Castle, London, the list goes on for family stuff. Also free fishing on the river Thames, although only one bite in three outings!
Nice local pubs and Chertsey town has Sainsburys, take-a-ways and other shops. There is a Spar opposite which is reasonably priced but the site does have a reasonable selection of goods.
We used a super pitch which had loads of space and TV ariel connector. Local dog walking only few minutes out of the site by the Thames, there is a small dog walk on the camp perimeter.
Overall a great location. We will probably stay for 2 weeks next time instead of the week.

We used this site as a stop-over on our return leg from France. As others have said, this site is ideal for short stays, but I wouldn't recommend it for a main holiday. The aircraft noise from the major airports is very loud (we didn't get used to it) but our little one enjoyed 'jumbo spotting' (trying to see which airline it was - yes, they are that close!) The noise from the nearby motorway is considerable too. Not something we worry about for a couple of nights, but I think it would dampen my enjoyment if it were my main holiday location.
The numerous showers are very spacious and hot water plentiful. Despite the site being jam-packed we never had to wait for a shower and they were always immaculately clean.
The site is in close proximity to many attractions, such as Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court etc; hence it being somewhat pricey I imagine. We paid £120+ for a 3-night stay on a hardstanding pitch with a touring caravan (no awning). I'm glad we opted for the hardstanding as it seemed that a lot of people were just pitched wherever there was a bit of grass, especially so for tents.
One thing to bear in mind, you will need a very long electric hook-up cable for some pitches, ours only just made it.
Visited the nearby Hungry Horse pub - which is FANTASTIC (it's actually called 'Twynersh') - superb value for money and a huge outdoor seating area & play area for the kids.
We will definitely use this site again as a stop-over (probably from France next summer).

The site staff were very helpful both on arrival and during the stay. Pitches are of reasonable size and relatively flat and are well tendered. We were able to select a pitch near to the river with beautiful views (ideal for fishing).
Facilities were immaculate (both showers and toilets and also wash-up facilities). Very quiet site from a neighbour point of view, although I would advise you to take your ear plugs for a good nights sleep, as you are directly underneath a frequent flight path.
A good base for nearby attractions (Thorpe Park) and a shortish train ride to London. All in all a pleasant camping experience.

We have just returned from a week long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The shower and toilet facilities were excellent, very clean, spacious and minimal waiting times, often non at all.
The site is an excellent base for Thorpe Park, Windsor, Chessington World of Adventure and Thorpe Park.
There is a large Tesco about 5 in drive away and a Sainsbury's in the town, although this has a smaller range of items.
The site is on the banks of the Thames and is therefore a little noisy if you are near to the locks and the rapids. You soon forget this noise though.
The only down side is that there is a real mix of trailers, tents and camper vans all sited randomly together. We went out one day having left a similar sized tent as a neighbour and returned to a large caravan with awning, with their door facing the opening to our tent.
Whilst not a major problem, it did makes things uncomfortable as we suddenly didn't have any 'private' outdoor space or room to cook etc. Perhaps more defined pitch spaces would prevent this from happening, so that campers clearly know the boundaries of their pitch.
Otherwise a lovely place, one of which we will certainly visit again.
