August 2004 First time camping and didn't want to go far from home, so chose this site as only an hour drive. Lovely quite site, nice and friendly staff. Toilets imaculate, nice handy little shop and cafe. Kids really enjoyed the fishing, although some of the platforms a little high for my liking. Not far from Worcester with great shopping. Definately go again, had a lovely relaxing weekend. Prices very reasonable. Can't wait to return.

July 2004 This was the first time we've been camping for over 12 years so after recently buying a tent we looked for somewhere cheap and cheerful to practice and learn the ropes (excuse the pun!). I used this site to find somewhere within an hours drive, in case things turned bad and we wanted to head home.
Anyway, the site was very much as everyone else said. Tidy, clean, functional without too many frills. The toilet block was an absolute credit to the site, modern, and spotlessly clean.
The shop was very handy and the attached cafe area seemed popular with the regulars although we didn't use it, and advertises Sunday lunches.
There is plenty of open space for kids to run about, and a fairly relaxed atmosphere that make you feel comfortable that your kids can play without fear of upsetting anyone. There is a small play area with swings and a small play house.
A river circles most of the site and is popular with the fishermen, and also attracts swans and plenty of ducks, which the kids like. There is also a boat yard that is in the site grounds, which adds a bit of interest.
The people running the site were also very friendly and helpful.
Although the site advertises a pub within a mile, we chose to head out in the car and went for a meal at a pub called The Raven, in Claines (about 10 minutes away). Very popular and does a decent carvery for £7.

May 2004 This is a nice but basic site. One field for caravans and another for tents. The river Severn runs around the perimeter of the campsite and so you would want to keep an eye on small children.
It's cheap at £6.50 per night for a tent, 2 adults and a car. The toilet and shower blocks are impeccably clean and modern. The on-site shop is well stocked and has a cafe serving breakfast and snacks all day.
It is a little close to a major road so is noisy during the day. Also, although there is a pub one mile away, walking to and from it requires walking down the verge of the afore-mentioned busy road and we didn't fancy that in the dark!
On the plus side, it's only £6 in a taxi to and from Worcester city centre.
We'd go again definitely.

October 2003 Joy of Joy's a campsite that likes campers. 10 minutes from the centre of Worcester and 15 mins from Droitwich Spa (home of the famous Brine Baths. If you haven't tried them you haven't lived.) The site closees at the end of October and opens for Easter or April 1st. They actually like you.
Nice clean facilties with a shop and cafe on site (Resticted hours this time of the year). We visit the Brine baths every couple of months so a camp site this good and this close is a sheer delight. We will definately be back.
