We stayed at this site in a tent for two nights last weekend. The owner met us at reception and took us to the lower tent field, where we were given the choice of available pitches - great customer service. The field has excellent views of the beach and bay beyond, and has a limited number of pitches. This was great as there was a feeling of space, unlike some sites where they cram on as many tents as possible. The facilities are a little distance away, but only a few minutes walk. They are in excellent condition and were scrupulously clean at all times. You are issued with an electronic tag to gain access / egress to the site, which we felt was a good security feature. We were also really pleased that it was a peaceful site, without any late night noise or disruption. There is plenty of room for children to play and what looks like a good play area. There are also nice walks to be had to the beach and a woodland walk. The site also has a shop, and tavern which serves food. We did not use either service on this visit, so cannot comment. The welcome we received and the overall nature and quality of the site will result in a definite return visit.

This site is absolutely beautiful. Clean, quiet and very well kept. The views were stunning and it has good access to the coastal path/beach - great for walking as we had two dogs with us. The toilet block is the best I have seen yet - brilliant idea to have toilet and shower cubicles combined, it meant that you had a 'dry' area to get dressed in. I dont think the tent fee was expensive for the quality of the site and facilities. It was worth it but.
The only major draw back was the distance from the tent field to the toilets and there was only one water tap in the tent field. If there could be some basic toilet facility in the tent field or access through bottom of the field to the main block the site would be perfect and one I would definitely visit again.

Just got back from this fantastic site. What a team! Really friendly and helpful and can't wait to spend the time of day with you. Smart little pub with really tasty bar-meals - try the chicken vindaloo - you won't be disappointed.
Great views and a cracking beach. Dog friendly. Loads of open space for the kids to tire themselves out in and loads of walks nearby to tire yourself out in too! Shower / toilet blocks clean and modern. I'm going back next year!

We went to this site as a group of families and loved it. The tent field is flat at the bottom but then rises quite sharply but as we arrived early we were able to pitch at the bottom. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Tents were pitched either side of the field and the owner told us that this was so the children had a good play area. So much nicer than owners packing people in to make as much money as possible.
On arrival you pay £10 deposit for an electronic key fob which operates the showers and gate at the bottom of the site, your money is refunded when you return the fob at the end of your stay. The showers are spotlessley clean and despite it being bank holiday weekend we didn't have to queue. The only downside is that the toilets are quite a walk from the tent field, which isn't too bad when it is warm and sunny but I wouldn't fancy it much in the wind and rain.
There is a nice nature walk that runs from near the reception to the beach and there is also a coastal walk that is marked out.
We ate at the Pilot Boat Inn which is within walking distance of the site. The landlord there was very friendly and the food was good. There is also a double decker 'fun bus' for the children to play in. The coastal walk is signposted almost opposite the pub entrance and it is a lovely walk along the bays and takes about an hour and a half in total.
The only thing I wish I could have changed here would have been the weather. Though we did not have the forecasted rain it was very windy and I half expected to wake up in the fresh air!
Overall we thought this site was fantastic with fabulous views. Will definitely be visiting again.

This our assessment of this site:- The toilets were very modern and kept clean. The grass is well managed and was cut while we were there. The owner was a very hospitable chap who allowed us to pitch on a 24 hour notice. The pub on site was a small venue with a play room for kids upstairs but the beer was a bit pricey Larger and fresh orange £5 Food was OK Single lane access to the site was a bit tight for caravans We were pitched on the upper field were the view of the sea was fabulous. The upper field is very hilly and be warned we counted 400 strides to the lower toilet block. There is a family toilet block next to the pub a the top of the field. Access to the beach is via a small gate down in the lower field. The site has a small shop. The showers and the security gates are operated using a small magnetic key fob which you obtain on arrival so keep them with you all the time!

My sister and I have been camping here for the past ten years with various members of our family and we love it. The views here are absolutely Fab. The Showers are all very clean and the site is very tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. There always seems to be a nice mix of family's staying and it's fairly quiet at night, well it is when we've shut-up and gone to bed! It is quite a walk to the loo but you wouldn't be camping if you did't expect that, and there is always the wee bucket. The key fob is a great idea, no more faffing about with tokens, and the barrier makes the site more secure. There is a great bar, restaurant which is child friendly and stocks a variety of very good red wine amongst other drinks. The menu has been revamped this year and breakfast is now available. The site owner is making efforts to encourage wildlife and there is a lovely woodland walk, with benches for resting on and picnic tables. Although it isn't the cheapest place. It is well worth the cost for a very relaxing holiday. Thanks Arthur

This is the worlds best camping site we have been coming here for 10 years!I T is dog friendly and has a great big play park. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away. The views are amazing and it is so clean.T He toilets are award winning and there is a shop for everything you need and a pub with a TV where we watch the x factor. Arthur the owner is so nice as are all the staff they are all friendly and smiley ans nice. There is a washing up block and fields for football etc. There is a nature walk and it is part of the David Bellamy scheme. There are so many flowers. It is really peaceful. In walking distance of shops and nearby towns such as Molfrey. The only bad point is we cant stay long enough!

We have been to Tyddyn Isaf several times over many years, and it never fails to impress. The owners keep the site immaculate, and the toilet block is how all others should be measured, top class. They are very friendly and always happy to help when needed. The site is on a slight slope, but this is acceptable as it is a coastal site and the owner always assists if you have a caravan in setting you up properly on your pitch, getting the axle level for you. There is a pub serving food on site, and several others nearby if you wish to explore. The beach is a short walk away, along the sites private path, and is beautiful. Access has recently been improved to include security entry onto the site, both at the main entrance and the beach gate. The key fob given to you (small returnable deposit) enables access to the site and is also used to switch on the showers, which are free and excellent. If you are looking for an upmarket, clean and well kept site, then this is the one for you. Ideal for families and dogs are allowed too. If you want lots of fair grounds, entertainment and tacky amusements, this is not the site for you!

Visited for the first time last August with some friends who had not been camping before. We were shown to our pitch which was slightly sloped but if you pitch your tent carefully the views of Lligwy Bay are fantastic, which makes it well worth it. We camped with 4 adults and 3 children, the weather was good on the whole and we all had a fantastic time. We found the staff on the site polite and friendly and the toilets and showers are spotless - not that far to walk to either. The shop is small but it has all those emergency items you may run out of. The bar is cosy and friendly. A very secure site with security gates, which you gain access through with your key fob. The site is kept to a very high standard, beautiful surroundings with fantastic views and a great play area for the children. We liked the site so much we now have a static on it. The best site I have stayed at in Anglesey and great for family camping.

This will be our second year visiting this site, because we absolutely love it. The views are perfect, the grounds and the showers are immaculate, and the owners are friendly. The site has a children's play area, has a nice walk to the beach, a pub that has beautiful views, and lovely food if you fancy a night off from the BBQ. The on site shop is there for any emergency, the bins are emptied daily, the site feels very secure which puts the mind at rest with small children. This was the second site we visited when we bought our van, and haven't been anywhere else since. Come on the lottery so we can afford a static or a permanent pitch.
