August 2005 This site has been extended and improved by the Caravan Club in the last couple of years. It is superbly kept with excellent toilet facilities. The wardens are extremely friendly. It is only about 1/2 mile walk into Broadway village with lots of walking opportunities with the Cotswold Way passing nearby. This is a first class site which is now open all year round.

May 2004 This is without doubt the jewel in the crown. Just about to make our fourth visit this year and love every minute of it. Superb pitches, ace toilets and showers and a landscape second to none. A credit to the wardens who do a superb job and a credit to the visitors who help to maintain the standards. You will not find a finer site within 30 miles. Go on go you know you want to. Mark Harbun

31 May - 6th June 2004 Another great Caravan Club site! Obviously recently refurbished and a pleasure to visit. The facilities are 2nd to none and location can't be beaten. Lovely flat site and very generous pitches, never feel as if your looking over into anyones space with the grassed areas and shrub plantings. These will be even more of a privacy screen once they've filled out and grown over the next year or so. TV not brilliant here, but hookups have aerial sockets on each post too. Didn't use the top 'Goods Shed' facilities, but the lower block was great, although busy at times. Mornings especially with all the younger ones in there with Mum having their daily splash about. The small play area appeared to be a hit with the children, and the good road surfaces were ideal for the youngsters learning to cycle too! I imagined it was going to be a bit 'boisterous' for me - wanting a 'get away relaxing' break - but it wasn't. We pitched away from the play area and the only disturbance we had was by the dawn chorus. Good supply of basic provisions in the Reception come shop but no bread - get that at the garage opposite the entrance. Oh, and try to catch the Farmers Market in Broadway (think it's 1st Thursday of the month) - a real treat for local produce and lovely! Really pretty village with some lovely shops and pubs there although we didn't sample these. Great site for relaxing on, basing yourself within easy reach of Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham and all the Cotswolds sights - BUT make sure you book early! As the site was emptying each day it was filling up again with more people eager to sample the delights of the Cotswolds. We're going back here, probably outside of school holidays next time unless we take the grandchildren!

August 2003 Immaculate site, even by CC standards. Revamped last year. Good dog walk off site (if you climb over the fence). 1/2 mile walk into Broadway to some lovely pubs and shops. Two loo blocks - one in old goods yard building, one new last year. Very spacious pitches with TV boosters available.

Popular Choice in this Area
Cwtch Cabins And Camping - Ledbury
With easy access to the Wye Valley, or the Malverns, this is a fantastic spot for a back-to-nature camping escape, with all electricity generated on site. Non-electric grass pitches with fire pits for your tent or campervan, or enjoy the home comforts of various quirky wooden cabins and thoughtfully renovated shepherd's huts. Despite its offgrid feel, guests can access brand-new toilets and hot showers.
With thoughtful touches around the camping field, including planting, beautiful wild grasses, and flourishing vegetable beds, the site sits between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent, providing a pick of independent shops and amenities. Pubs and cider makers are located a stroll away, and dogs are welcome. Look forward to a warm welcome from hosts Ruth, James, and their cheery canines Chaucer and Luther! Find out more here

July 2003 I can't really fault this site. All pitches are hard standing and completely level with a generous patch of grass (or shrubs) between pitches. The toilet/shower/laundry etc facilities are excellent and facilities for the disabled (and small children) are much better than usual. There is a small children's play area and the office keeps bare essentials such as milk & eggs. There is a more comprehensive shop nearby.
The site is cleverly landscaped and the layout is very attractive.
Campers are issued with a 'swipe card' to open the barriers for entry & exit. This is great for security but a nuisance if you have visitors. However this is a minor niggle - I still rate this site 10/10 !
