Beautiful site, excellent facilities. The only thing was is that its very hilly so if you like it flat then its not for you! We were worried about camping on a slope but we got use to it and enjoyed our stay so much that we are goung in 2006! There are lots of nearby attractions and you are surrounded by beautiful beaches

The lane leading up to the site IS narrow, so watch out if you meet a caravan! The best pitches (with ehu) are at the top of the hill and have a fantastic view of Lligwy Bay and onto Llandudno on a clear day. This does of course mean that they slope slightly - so pitch carefully!
Toilets/ showers very clean and plenty of them even for August - never busy, although a fair hike back up to said fantastic pitch! Need a 20p for hot washing up water (a lot of people seem to nip into the washroms next door to get a bowl full free!)
Short (10 min) walk down quiet footpath to the beach, great for evening stroll. Shop ok for bread/milk/newspapers etc. Nice children's playground set into hillside. A lovely site, would recommend it and will visit again next year!

Beautiful campsite, well looked after, with beautiful views. Tent pitches a little too sloping. Toilet and shower facilites were great, but in view of the size of the site, more facilities are needed. There are only 3 sinks for washing up! Considering we paid £20 a night for a tent pitch, we thought that paying for the hot water for washing up and paying for having a shower was a little much! Well organised site, but owners could be a little more friendly!

Great site, lovely views, very clean faciities, tidy site. Took us (with children and 'stuff') 15 minutes to walk to the beach from the top of the camping field.
Some people may not have liked the walk to the shower block (2 minutes, maybe 3) but I thought it was fine. This has been improved from the camping field by 2 new showers opening near the shop, the disabled one being the perfect size for the whole family to fit in to and shower.
A bigger site than I would normally like, with quite a few static caravans and noisy at 11pm when the on site bar shuts.
The downsides are : The camping field slopes considerably, there are only a handful of flat pitches. We had some uncomfortable nights and the children always ended up in a ball at the bottom of the tent and everything slid off the table/cooker/bbq. Sitting at a fold-up camping table was awkward. : Quite expensive and you still have to pay extra for showers and dishwashing hot water. : The sloping field resulted in lots of tents trying to squeeze into a small part of the field where the gradient was lower, and the owners were less than diligent in enforcing the " 20' between tents" rule, although this didn't affect us too badly.
If only they could terrace some of the camping field, but I am not sure tents form the key business focus for this site.

August 2004 This is a beautiful site and brilliant for the kids. The beautiful beach is only a 5-10 minute walk. Can be a bit awkward with pushchairs / wheelchairs. Some of the tent pitches can be quite sloped. The weather was beautiful which really made for a good holiday. The shop on site is quite adequate. We didn't eat on site but there is a good family pub serving great food 5 minutes down the road. Good for kids. We are going back to this site again in August 2005. Probably the best campsite on Anglesey!!

August 2003 Pleasant enough site - though on a steep slope - some vans seemed to be perched precariously!
Facilities good - toilets very good. Beach is a ten minute walk - and means a tough hike back up a hill to the site.
Caution is needed when getting to the site down narrow lanes.

August 2003 we booked on spec and found it quite easy, very helpful and friendly and we even got shown to our pitch. I really would recommend this site to all, it's so clean and tidy and the bins always seemed empty, everything was clean.
It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and what a stunning beach that never seemed to really get busy.
I dont know where 25p kids cola comes from (as the menu says) I was paying 90p a small bottle, the food is eatable, it seemed like it was just all frozen and into the microwave or in the fryer, dont really recommend.
There is an excellent shop with very friendly and chatty staff.
This is the best site we've visited this year, the toilets are exceptional, well worth a visit.
It has spoilt us a bit but we will definately return but with a caravan next time, a 4 star campsite (would be 5 if the food was better.)

June 2003 What a lovely site, I thought the owners could have been a bit more friendlier though. Everything was very orderely. The toilet/shower blocks were clean and always had a nice smell to them. Don't forget your tokens, and 20p for the dishwashing facilities. The beach was only a few minutes away, which we had some good sunbathing, because the weather was great. The shop sold all necessities, and we had a great meal at the Pilot Boat, which is just minutes away from the site. We will definately return to the Tyddyn Isaf.
