 Very good stopover site for ferry or tunnel. Far enough out of Calais to be quiet ,but near enough for shopping and vets etc. I have used this site many times over the years but the toilet blocks do not look to have been updated except for the motorhome service point.

This site is ideal for a stop over for Calais. We have stayed at it twice before and would have no problem returning in the future. It is a medium sized site with some tour operators present. The site is split into three parts, the far top consisting of a mixture of good sized touring pitches and static caravans. The middle and bottom bits are mainly touring pitches with the odd tour operator tent and static thrown in. The swimming pool is smallish, and has a 'cover' which can be pushed back in warm weather, and there is a slide which ends in a splash pool. There is also a toddlers pool which is totally undercover. In high season the pool area gets very busy.
The bar and restaurant are very pleasant, as are the staff. The whole site has a feeling of french ambiance.
The only weak part of the site are the toilet blocks which are looking a bit tired. Again, in high season they can be very busy. The site used to have a fishing lake but this has been drained at some point and it is grassed over. Totally safe for young children now.
