Went for 5 days - our first 'big distance' tow with our old caravan (An early eighties Alpine Sprite). You are directed to your stance and even though the site was busy, you had plenty of space between you and the next luck visitor. Grass pitches, make it easy to put your awning up.
The site was first class with friendly staff. Everything was superb, clean and in good repair. There is a well stocked shop on site and the staff were very helpful with information of 'where to go' and 'what to do'.
If you turn right at the front gate on the way out, Oban is only 10 minutes away by car and if you turn left you will find Fort William and Ben Nevis after a good drive. There are plenty of other attractions such as the seal sanctuary.
I would recommend without hesitation.

Having read all the glowing reports about this site we were greatly looking forward to our stay here (me, husband, 2 kids and dog) and in many respects were not disappointed. The views are fab, and it's good that everyone has a sea view of some sort, although that does result in the long rows commented on by someone else. The easy access to the beach is great and the site is close to many attractions (Loch Etive cruise, Sea Life Sanctuary, ferry from Oban to Mull and other islands, etc). The shop is very well stocked and the showers and toilet facilities are well maintained.
However, we found the site to be a bit over-regulated (perhaps a feature of Caravan Club sites?) and the sign by the beach ordering dog owners not to 'allow dogs to foul or urinate on the beach' is frankly ridiculous. Are they handing out corks at check-in? Naturally I would not encourage my dog to 'go' on the beach and I am religious about poop scooping, but this kind of overbearance made me feel a bit disapproved of, even though I had done nothing to merit it! Speaking of disapproving, our children got scowled at a bit for doing nothing more than playing as children do. There were a great many older people on the park, which is fine, but not loads of children for the kids to meet and play with. The play park is excellent but kids need to cross the main access road to get in and so can't go on their own. Finally, while I am happy to see site maintenance going on, I was less than delighted with the guy on the ride-on lawnmower who went up and down outside our van at least 20 times at tea time, meaning we couldn't enjoy a bit of peace and quiet or let the children play unfettered.
I know that seems like a lot of moaning, but I did like a lot of things about this site and we had a good holiday here. Forewarned is forearmed though!

Excellent site. Usual high caravan club standards. Very clean toilet block. Very friendly and helpful staff. The site sits right beside the sea and the views are fantastic. The site is peaceful and although it is quite a large site its very quiet and tranquil. Have booked again and can not wait to go back.

I am reluctant to say that This is a one of the best caravan sites we have ever visited, just incase every one else decides to visit. A very clean site with spectacular views. We have been here in heavy rain and glorious sun shine, but the views remain.
Not far from Oban, and if you do not wish to take the car a bus stops just at the entrance of the site.
The warden is friendly and helpful, with a shop that has all the little things that you need even if you did not know that you did.
There is a small play for the kids, but the beach is a must, clean and we felt safe. A great family site.

Stayed here while touring the Highlands. So impressed we called in again on the way home. The views and sunsets are beautiful. Spotless shower block - the best we have seen. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and even though this is a large site it is very peaceful and pitches are well spaced out all having sea views. On some sites nobody talks to each other but not here. Highly recommended caravan club site but non members section looked equally good.

While agreeing with all the positive comments of the previous reviewers, we were disappointed in this site as it is much bigger than we were led to believe and while appreciating the reason for it (ensuring everyone has a view over the bay) we did not like the lay-out of the pitches in long rows along the coast. From other reviews it sounds perfect, but for those like us who prefer a smaller site with a more intimate feel, it didn't quite hit the mark. We can't really fault it - it just wasn't for us!

We spent 5 days here.
We stayed over the Easter break and were subjected to powercuts - possibly from people who had brought all the appliances from home. Luckily I had lots of things which ran on batteries and also had to rely on candles for the evening as there were many powercuts.
Location was great, everybody loved the beach, including the dog.
Had to buy special red awning pegs from shop as our steel ones did not work.
The weather was great and not what was forecast which was a bonus.

Lovely site, as everyone has already said.
My only suggestion would be another toilet block at the southern end of the site. It is a long way from there to the nearest one and most people use their cars, especially if it is raining, which means vehicles moving about at all hours. Visibility to the left is not good when leaving the site and we witnessed one very near miss.
Very well kept, clean site and we will be back.

Just got back from this fabulous site. We had not been for 6 years and it is as lovely as ever. Loo's and showers are spotless. This is a place I never want to leave. All the staff are great, helpful and friendly. The site is always well kept. There is a very good on site shop too which stocks most things you could need. There has also been a new toilet block since our last visit. The views from this site a wonderful also. All in all this is my perfect site.

This site is just superb, it is has fantastic views across the bay and the sunsets are amazing.
On arrival you are escorted to your pitch, our was a gravel hard standing near to the toilet and shower blocks, which were very clean and well maintained.
Dog walking is on the beach or the disused rail track that runs through the site, I know this sounds odd but it is that well landscaped we did not find it until the second day.
The waste water drain and water supply for the motorhomes is very easy to use.
Its worth an early stroll on the beach as you might spot a seal or one of the large cruise liners sailing past mull.
Oban is only a ten minute drive away and a tip for parking a motorhome is tesco for three hours free parking.
All in all a great place to spend a holiday
