Stayed at Warcombe farm many times when visiting Woolacombe. The new toilet block is fantastic and always clean. Very smartly presented. The pitches are mainly flat and often when I have been I have been given my own patch number which is closed away with bushes so you get some privacy. My only complaint is the price. Each year it seems to get dearer and dearer. And why am I paying for two small dogs at £1.50 each. Its not like they use any of the facilities on site. So when I add all this on to my nightly charge its very expensive. For a weeks holiday in the summer i'm looking at £26 per night. Whatever happened to camping being a cheap holiday? Other than that, couldn't fault this campsite and would recommend it even though it is pricey.

We visited Warcombe Farm during the August bank holiday weekend. 4 adults and 2 children (5 and 2.5) spread over two large pitches (10.5m x 11.5m) with EHU. This easily accommodated our Diablo 600 and car The site itself is slightly sloping at the top but seems to level out towards the bottom. The children's play area is well maintained was very popular with the children. There is ample grass area to run around in. The new toilet block is excellent and the showers are large with a storage system to stop your clothes getting wet. The shop is small and a bit expensive but there is a Spar about 0.5 miles towards Woolacombe and a Tesco in Ilfracoombe. The on-site take-away sell very good home cooked food, not just the usual fried thing and chips, and I would strongly recommend it. There is a pub at the end of the lane which provides a carvery as well as bar food. You can walk to it but you will need to walk down the road as there is no pavement. The walk takes approx 10 minutes. There is a fishing lake which seemed quite popular although not my sort of thing. Woolacombe beach is a 5 minute car journey away. Miles and miles of sand, great surf and a stream which kept our kids happy for hours. All day parking is £4 or £5 depending on how close to the beach. If we visit this area again I would definitely consider staying there again.

We stayed at Warcombe Farm last week and although the weather was not very good the campsite was a delight. The shower block is out of this world, the campsite it spotlessly clean and kept that way all week. Noisy campers are not tolerated by management. We will most certainly go back again.

This was our second trip to this site and had a great time. They have added more play facilities for children which was very popular. To remain the best site in the area they need to keep improving. They have one great shower block but the old one which they keep open for toilets is dire! It's time to spend money on it. Also they need more washing up sinks, they have 4 and there is nearly always a queue although once you get a sink they are clean and tidy. You can hire all fishing equipment to use their fishing lake at a reasonable price and the takeaway food was good, although I think they should make an effort to either tarmac or put paving slabs in the eating area to make it feel more classy.

Third visit here and it still impresses me each time. Avoid the route via Barnstaple to get there - traffic always bad but other A roads fine. A very convenient site for the local surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe (especially if you want to avoid the big holiday parks) and easy to get to others at Saunton and Ilfracombe too. Site is spotless with fantastic showers/toilets/plate washing and useful clothes drying area. So peaceful in the evenings with lovely views - and the pitches for non EHU especially are beautifully landscaped. This time we found a lovely little cinema in Ilfracombe on a showery evening which was handy. This is the only site I recommend to all my friends and you can check availability, see the pitches on a map and book online for a spur of the moment trip. Love the place!

This was a perfect site for me. Not too large and over crowded and in a perfect location for getting to the surf on Woolacombe Beach.
The site is very well maintained while managing to keep the rural feel. The shower and toilet block are in a league of there own and can only be described as luxurious. There is a combination of pitches from open plan to secluded plots surrounded by trees and shrubs for complete privacy if required.
At the end of the site they have their own woodland which makes for a great walk and has fantastic views out to sea.
The staff were very friendly and the food at their small take away was very welcoming after the journey down.
In my opinion it would be hard to find a better site than this for what we look for and for that it has gone to number 1 in my book.

This site was fabulous. Beautiful setting, loads of space, fantastic shower/toilet block. I am not a seasoned camper but I give this long weekend camping experience 10/10. Highly recommend a visit. The kids really enjoyed the playground and the fishing lake has lots of big fish. The staff were very friendly and you dont have to worry about cooking because they provide a take away service. The food was simple, homemade and very tasty.

Just had our first family camping trip here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The shower block was fabulous - so warm, clean and tidy. A far cry from my Guide camp days! Playground was great for the children although the aerial slide was noisy when being used after hours. Superb spot for Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Croyde.

Stayed on this site over Easter Hols. Very nice site huge pitches. Large fishing lake and good play ground for kids. Lovely showers plenty of hot water but some pitches, such as ours was a good walk away from the shower block. As it wasn't that busy you would have thought you could pitch where you wanted too. Also some people were letting their dogs roam around without leads on and then there was the problem of dog mess in places. I would still recommend this site though. The lovely beach of Woolacombe was only 1.5 miles away.Very hilly if you ride your bike, great on way to beach but very hard work getting back.

Have visited this park for two years running and have enjoyed both visits. The site is partly sloping and level with good size pitches. There is a newish toilet block which can get busy as the old toilet block is dreadful! There is a park for the kids at the top of the site which seems to keep even our teenagers occupied. The site generally is quiet and well kept. Only a few moans, the waste water point which are situated around the site can get messy, they could be better designed. It can get rather sticky around the site when it rains especially in the high traffic areas, there also is an area around the new toilets which is reserved for campervans and large units, the ground here is covered in large chunks of stone... very noisy for some people!
