August 2004 The owners are very nice and even helped set up the caravan on our arrival, which was most welcome after a long and tiring journey. A quite site especially in the evening. Theres a well equiped play area and a pool table for the kids, plus the bonus of some farm animals.
Washrooms very clean, the only thing I did not like was the showers, which are on a 10p timer, which is not set long enough to finish showering, if you put more than one coin in you still only get the same short time, so you have to watch out for a bit of cold water before cut off before you load another coin!!
A minor critism considering how reasonably priced the site is compared to other sites in the area.

August 2004 Really Lovely site with good level pitches. The play ground was a real hit with kids who were playing safely till late but as the playground is seperated from the camping area whilst still being in view we felt safe and secure! Only down side, we found the owners not too friendly, perhaps as we only wanted to stay one night, a little disappointing as we were trying out sites for a longer stay and we didn't feel that welcome. Would visit again though as really nice clean safe site. (no local pub though and long way to nearest!)

May 2004 Lovely site for a quick weekend getaway. Very friendly owners who will help you pitch up and great for children. Nice selection of play equipment and space to run around. The animals on site (not literally) were also a big attraction especially for my six-year old who was asked to help with sheep moving! Good, clean facilities.

June 2004 Although my wife and I have been camping on numerous occasions it was my 4 year old son's first time. Thanks to the great site my son really enjoyed himself. The play area was a big hit with him and we considered it very safe for him. Us grown-ups were thankful for the immaculately clean and spacious toilet block and nice level fields. Everybody (including the owners) was very friendly which made the experience even better. Would use this campsite again for sure and would happily recommend it to others for a peaceful friendly place to go.

Sept 03 First 'attempt' at camping with children (2 of 7yrs and a 2yr old). Visited with three other families, all with at least 3 children each. Were reserved a space (no set pitches) next to the play area - although this was actually screened by trees so we did not feel as though we were on top of it.
Smallish site, very relaxed atmosphere. Kids loved the animals (sheep were very vocal at night though!) and the play area - this was not huge but had a couple of different things from the usual range and plenty of space to run!
Some nice walks nearby and the beach, although stones, kept the kids happy for hours and is not too 'touristy'.
Are booked to go again this year, with a couple of extra families also.

May 2003 Stayed for a short break during children's half term. Peaceful and friendly site. Helpful owners. Spotless toilet and shower block - adequate for number of campers when we were there, may not be sufficient at peak times. Good children's play area and plenty of farm animals for children to see. Would definitely visit again.
