Just got back from High bank farm. The site is basic but has all you need if you do not want a shop, club, or entertainment. I cannot fault this site for camping at budget prices as it is so cheap and the owners are so very friendly, nothing is too much trouble and you are only a short bus or car drive into Blackpool so you do not need all the fancy stuff of the commercial sites. Can be a bit muddy in wet weather but it was the end of october, I can't see that being a problem in the summer. I would definitely use this site again, especially only costing £6.50 per night for 2 people at anytime of the year. Forget it if you want a Haven type holiday this is grass roots stuff and very very good too!

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in High Bank farm. The location is ideal for Blackpool Illuminations & Pleasure Beach it is about 4 miles away. There are pubs and small supermarket about 1 mile away. The field was sloped around the edges however the ground was perfect for tent pitching. The facilities on site were less than basic. 1 small shower for women along with 1 WC & the same again for the men. There was also 2 toilets on the field without lighting so they are very dark at night. Next 2 the toilet blocks on the field were 2 swings. The owners of the site were really friendly and we were very amused to see the free range chickens wandering around! You can also buy eggs, Jams and home made cakes on site. We agreed that the site was OK for a 1-2 night stay but probably nothing more.

This was the 1st time we'd been here but we loved it , the owners are friendly and helpful . The site has very generous sized pitches more than enough room the site holds 30 pitches but is still small enough so you can see the kids on the swing set from were ever you are, my kids are 7,6and 4 and had a great time booked to come again on our 1st day the site fees are reasonable £4 pitch , £2 electric , £1.50 adults and £1 per child over 5. The site has 2 toilet blocks 1 with showers and washroom and a little shop that sells honey made from bees on the site eggs from their own chickens and homemade cakes that are yummy.

Just returned from this camp site with my husband and 2 children and dog. The camp site was basic with only one shower and toilet and another toilet on the camp field but other than that the site was quite and friendly the owner was nice and tried his best to help with any problems. There was no shop on site but the farm sold eggs cakes milk etc and the shops were not that far away.
