Fantastic site. Very friendly people all round. the site is very clean with lots of space for children to play in the centre of the field as all caravans/tents etc. Are around the outside. Spent a week here with three kids and my brother and his brood (age range 9-16)and it was fantastic. Lots to keep them all amused, lots of walks and places to visit. Will certainly be back soon.

What a fantastic place to stay mid-week when you need a quick break - having to work, but needing to get away from it all. We were able to take the laptop. And carry on working from the comfort of the awning! Lovely walk into Hawes, and great runs around for the dogs. Will be back - very often! This site could turn into our away-from-home office I feel!

This was our first visit to the site, and we found the owners very welcoming and helpful. The site was clean (especially the showers and toilets) and well-maintained. Very convenient for the market town of Hawes - which as advertised as only ten minutes walk from the site - which it is. Will be visiting again and recommending to friends and family.

Stayed for two nights on this campsite, the owners were extremely helpful and the campsite very clean. Although there was no shop on the site as such you could essentials from the sites reception. The site is set in a very picturesque setting. The Village of Hawes is beautiful and will most definitely be returning to this campsite.

Just returned from our first weekend away in our new Motor-home. Chose Bainbridge Ings through UK Camp Site. The site was excellent, not overcrowded, plenty of room. The toilets and showers very clean, not too far away to walk into Hawes itself. Very friendly owners, thank you Mrs Facer, look forward to a return visit soon.

This certainly is a beautiful and peaceful location, a very well maintained site, with friendly welcoming owners. We stayed during May half term, and despite the "full" sign being up, the site never felt overcrowded. Pitches were well spaced and the centre of the field was always clear for children to play. We ordered milk from the shop - it arrives for 8am the following morning. They also sold gas, and freezer blocks could be frozen for 20p a time.
Showers and toilets were impeccably clean at all times - we never had to queue and the five minute shower for 20p allowed plenty of time. Water was always extremely hot.
Despite having a very rural feel with beautiful views in all directions, it was very convenient - only a ten minute walk to town where there are many useful shops including a well-stocked Spar and a nice local grocers store, plus local attractions.
Places to visit - would reccommend White Scar Caves (near Settle); Malham Cove and Village; How Stean Gorge (near Pately Bridge)

Great flat site with nice views. Local to Hawes, about a 10 minute walk. The site was well looked after and the facilities were clean. The showers were excellent, 20p for 5 mins. The owners were very friendly and offered advice on where to pitch regarding wind directions etc. All information regarding weather forecasts, things to do etc could be found in the reception / office. Hawes is a lovely place with a nice centre and stunning scenery. We went on a cycling trip and with the hills around here you need to be very fit. Would suit hikers. I am going to return with my family as it seems that it would be ideal for children with a massive open space in the centre and the tents around the perimeter of the huge field. One of the most relaxed sites I've stayed at.

Really great site. First visit here on a recommendation from friends and we were very impressed. The field was a good size for the children to play without being too close to any other tents. The showers were 20p but last 5 minutes. The hot water for dishes is free in a washroom. The owners were friendly and were happy to help with any queries. There are nice walks around and Hawes isn't too far away. Would definitely go back, a good famiy site. Had a great weekend - despite the torrential rain on the saturday night!

September 2005 Lovely site with fantastic location - short walk to Hawes. Plenty of space - only downside was the wind which picked up after 2 days of calm, and flattened our tent leaving us no choice but to cut short our stay. A real shame, cos everything else about it was great - owners are really friendly, and I don't mind the odd 20p when the price is very reasonable to start with! Would def go back - if I could guarantee no wind!

August 2005 As 1st time campers I was unsure what to expect chose this campsite after seeing everyone's comments so thanks! Couldn't have picked a nicer site! Site was lovely and clean, showers 20p for 5 mins which was fine, again lovely and clean. Pitches are round edges of wall between white lines so plenty of room and kids can play safely in the middle of the field. Everyone very friendly, nice and quiet after 11pm. Views fantastic, Hawes lovely. Will def be going back!
