Went for our second visit (went 2009) and still as nice. The road noise at night seemed much less instructive, (I suppose as we were expecting it this time and were armed with ear plugs that helped!).The site was approx half full and never had a problem doing the washing up or showering.
There is a lovely new fridge/freezer for campers use. This is very handy if you want to stock up with perishables and keep cool if you aren't using electric. The tesco's just outside Stow is very good. Its such a lovely spot, beautiful sunsets and open skies. We will be back next year.
If you want to venture away from Bourton for something to eat then Naunton's Black Horse pub is highly recommended and a lovely walk across the fields starts from there.

Just returned and have mixed feelings about this site.
Good points.
Large pitches
Brilliant location, Bourton is gorgeous
Good washing up facilities, fridge, washing machine provided
Adults only.
Bad points.
Some sloped pitches
Quite a bit of road noise
A lot of pitches are quite a long trot to the one and only toilet block, 3 toilets, 3 showers in the ladies.
As I said, mixed feelings. I felt that because the owners only put in an appearance at night to collect money that they didn't much care what went on during the day, nobody around to answer queries etc, though some people might like this aspect of the site.
One other tip, take a wasp trap. We were plagued by them. Everytime we made a cup of tea, opened a drink etc, we were swarmed. Went and bought 2 wasp traps which did help a bit.

Very nice adult only site. Lovely and peaceful. Large size pitches but we were on a slope. Needed level blocks.
Showers clean and good washing up area, with freezers to use. Ice cream £1.50 per tub - lovely.
It is about a 10 minute walk from site to mainroad. Bourton is a 25min walk down hill, coming back is very steep - take a torch if coming back late.
Bourton is lovely - plenty of pubs and shops. Most let dogs in.
Took a bus to moreton-in-marsh tuesdays is market day - lots to buy.
Will defo be back to this site soon.

Another great adult only site. Lovely lovely location. Pitch sizes are great and they are starting to grow hedges around the edge of your pitch which is great.
Really spacious site and you don't feel overlooked at all.
Dog walk at the corner of the site which is a nice touch.
Only downside for me with this site is the showers. The shower block is very modern and clean, but there is no curtain separating your dry clothes from the shower so you end up getting everything slightly wet! I tried different places to put my dry clothes, but nothing worked! Most sites have a curtain to divide the shower from the rest of the cubicle and that is a must here. Owners, please note!
The washing up area is like being in your own kitchen, its fabulous! Here you will find washing machine and fridge freezer for your use.
There is also fresh eggs available together with locally made ice creams. An honesty box is left there so you can put your money in. Eggs are about 20p each and so fresh! The ice creams were also lovely - I did have two lots one evening.Very naughty!
We walked into Bourton on the Water which is fabulous. Such a picturesque village - must see.
May visit again, depending on whether they sort the showers out!

We have just returned from a wonderful visit. The welcome was wonderful and the site extremely clean,
Toilets showers and wash room all excellent facilities.
Borton on the water is only a one and a half mile walk and a beautiful English village.
The sausages we had from the farm were delicious on our barbeque. And with a lovely ice cream to finish off a lovely stay.
We would like to say thank you for a very relaxing 2 night stay this weekend.

We are just back from our second visit to Field Barn Park, the first being almost exactly a year ago. So what has changed ? Well thankfully nothing ! It is still a large open field, large pitches around the edges, the newly planted trees and shrubs are slowly growing, the toilets and showers are still kept clean and lovely, there is still no lighting on the site at night so it is very dark (take a torch !) the owners still pop round at least once a day to take your money and check all is well with you. It is still peaceful and rural and a real gem of a site.
So why am I writing another review when nothing has changed. Well this time we went over a weekend and the site was almost full, compared to under half full last time. The facilities were stretched, the 3 showers and toilets in the ladies and the gents were just about enough, but there are only 2 basins in each so a couple of times I had to queue or come back later to have a wash or brush teeth. Occassional queues for the washing up sinks too.
Even though the site was busy, the atmosphere of quiet calm remained. It was peaceful at night, and a lovely place to be during the day.
We did notice the road noise much more this time. Maybe the wind was in a different direction, or some trees had been cut done, but it was quite loud and noticeable. You could hear the motorbikes at night from miles off.
Don't let it put you off though, after a day we just zoned the noise out and a good pair of ear plugs did the trick at night.
Its a great site, PLEASE don't go if you want to sit up late into the night socialising in groups, but do go if you want to relax and unwind somewhere peaceful.

We found the site easily when entering the co ordinate information to the GPS. It is in a good location to venture out to other villages. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The site itself has hard ground, but it had been very dry. The hook ups are easily found. There is one hook up with 4 sockets in the middle of 4 pitches, so some pitches are nearer than others to it. Toilets and showers were always clean. The showers did tend to loose some pressure, but it is still fine/hot to shower in. Fridge/freezers/washing machine/iron all available in the washing up room. We did bring rubbish home with us as there arent bins for all types of rubbish. I think I would struggle with this if I had been there for a full week, maybe Ill think about how I can manage that on my next trips though.
The site is VERY quiet, it's so relaxing and it has everything you need really. We hope to visit again when the newly planted trees have matured.

What a great weekend our first experience of camping. This was for the over 30's only. Site was very peaceful in great countryside not far from a lovely walk to Bourton on the Water. Toilets and Showers were spotless. Kitchen with 2 sinks, use of fridge and freezers, with delicious home made ice cream to buy. Owners very nice and helpful. Each pitch had water close by and electric if wanted. Will definitely be going again possibly before the season is out.

Visited this site in our campervan the other weekend while doing some mountain biking trails in the area. Lovely peaceful site with a relaxed atmosphere and with good size pitches, some on a bit of a slope, but it didn’t effect us where we were. Owners both very friendly/personable and came to collect fees and say hello in the evening. The toilet block etc all clean and functional with very clean and tidy enclosed washing up room with fridges (and a freezer with some small tubs of local ice cream in for £1.50 and fresh farm eggs for 20p). Good to find a site that has a waste recycling policy. As a general rule we don’t normally stay at the same place twice, but we would make an exception for this site and will probably return in the future, as we liked what we found. We paid £18 per night with EHU which we thought was reasonable value.

Excellent pitch sizes and separated by planting. Already looking good, would love to see this site when the planting matures, although will be back before then. Great views if pitched one side, or on the other a high hedge to stop those inevitable winds and to get some evening shade from the sun. Modern and extremely clean loos/showers. Forgot to buy some of the home-made ice-cream, next time perhaps. Access to adjacent field via gate for dog-walking. Owners are recycling and respecting the planet, hope other sites start this. Peaceful countryside site and lovely and dark at night. Other campers were friendly. Easy drive to stunning Bourton-o-W, The Slaughters (understandably lots of painters about with their easels & lucky enough to visit during Upper Slaughter's village Fete, great fun) and Stow-on-the-Wold for some shopping. Wished we had a longer visit to explore further, amazing area.
