A very clean and quiet campsite in the village of Pencelli on the Eastern side of the Beacons about 3 miles SW of Brecon town. Pitches are level and grassy and there are ample water points. Showers take 50p coins for a very generous 5 minutes. There are dish washing facilities along with washing machine and tumble drier. On the down side there is no shop on the site or even in the village, the nearest being in Talybont (about 1.5 miles further down the road away from Brecon). There is however a pub in the village no more than half a mile from your tent door - nice! There is a bus service into Brecon, timetable on the site notice board. The proprieters were extremely helpful during our stay and we will almost certainly stay there again. NO DOGS ALLOWED.
