We have just spent 5 glorious days at this site. Andrew the owner is very helpful he keeps the site lovely and clean. He came to us to see if we were happy and if we needed anything.

It is so peaceful. We could see the Shropshire Hills where we were hooked up. The lake is surrounded by tall grass which attracts the butterflies and different birds.

If you want peace and tranquility this is the site for you. Large pitches, our super pitch overlooked the fishing area. Well worth the money. Easy to reach Shrewsbury and Montgomery.

Very nice owner adds to the whole atmosphere for a relaxing and noise free experience. A great adult only site not to be missed.

We did not want to leave this ideal site. Level pitches on hard or grass. Multiple water supply points. Sufficient electricity. Wonderful views all round. Very reasonable rates.

Most importantly, this site is extremely well run. The grass is cut regularly and the owners are very friendly and helpful but unobtrusive, which can enhance the experience of any site

We are planning another visit and would recommend this site.

What a fantastic peaceful site. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Very large hard standing pitches. We took our two dogs, there is a dog walk really close by and it was ideal.

It made no difference there were no showers or toilet, it was nice to use the motorhome facilities. Fishing was fantastic we caught quite a few really decent fish.

Will definitely be going back again for another restful peaceful weekend break. I can highly recommend it.

Very good site, well kept, big plots for your unit, choice of hard or grass standing, water and waste and bins close to all units.

The last mile of road is tight just take your time, I came with 4x4 and twin wheel van no problem. The owners want you to have a good holiday and will assist you in any way they can, all you need to do is ask.

There is a co-op shop in the village with fuel station. The fishing is good, had some nice carp out plus rudd, roach, perch.

All in all a very good peaceful site, highly recommend if you want peace and quite. As said adults only site.

We stayed here for 5 nights in October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We don't usually like hard-standing but we've had so many soggy fields this year we decided to give it a go.

We were really glad we did, it made a real difference not having mud coming up through the awning mat! Really large pitches, as well, so plenty of room for van, awning and car without encroaching on the soggy wet grass + pitches well spaced out so you are not on top of each other.

Lovely quiet site, full of bird life and the pond adds to the air of tranquillity. Easy access, apart from the last mile of single track, but we had no problems. There are no toilet/shower facilities, but we have those in the van.

Walks all over the place if you get the weather but also very central for most of Shropshire and over the border into Wales.

Owners very friendly and accommodating - we will definitely be booking again.

We stayed here for only two nights but we really wished it had been a lot longer. The site is in beautiful surroundings overlooking the small fish pond with great views of the mountains.

We had a very friendly welcome from Andrew the owner who came and chatted to us every day. The pitch was very good and a lack of toilet block was no problem, a welcome change to have such a quiet site with plenty of wildlife to watch.

In all for us it was perfect quiet and tranquil and we will visit again next year but for a lot longer.

Just returned from this super 'back to nature' site. No traffic noise, no child noise,no any noise except that of the wind and mother nature.Site is very clean, well spaced and in the middle of nowhere. Need to walk 2-3 miles before reaching civilisation but who really wants to when you can sit and lap up the tranquillity while watching those patiently manning their rods hoping for a big carp to bite! The owners are very friendly and enthusiastic about the development of their home/site. We look forward to a return visit. Makes a change not to rely on the toilet block and use on board facilities as they were meant to be used. No shop etc on site so stock up well! Its worth it

We spent a couple of nights and it was very relaxing, the pitches are huge and you have loads of room. All the pitches are overlooking the lovely pool, unfortunately I did not get chance to fish but will return another day to have my turn. The status Ariel we have fitted to our roof gave a great reception for those who want to catch up with the news or X Factor…….

So all in all great site, owners are very friendly with a very friendly dog.

Good location for Bishops Castle, Clun and the stiperstones and I'm sure loads more.

We hope for a return visit soon.

Absolutely fabulous! Due to the fact there were no reviews, we thought we would try it for one night and see what it was like - we ended up staying for 4 nights and would have stayed longer if we did not have to be somewhere else on the Friday. If peace and quiet, beautiful views, fishing and a dog walk are your cup of tea, this is the site for you (we hope it isn't cos we would really like to keep it for ourselves!) Andrew the owner could not have been more friendly and made us feel most welcome. The pitches are spacious and every one has a view. We just sat and relaxed all week, so could not say about the surrounding area, but the fish and chip shop in Pondersbury was excellent. There are no facilities (toilets/showers), but this suits us fine as we have everything we need on the van. We had an ordinary pitch, although there are super pitches, but the water/bins and empty points are all easily accesible. This has just become our favourite site and is excellent value for money. Thank you Andrew we had a great time - idyllic! - we will return.
