Just returned from a weekend trip to this site. Had a great time. The site is well laid out with 2 separate areas, one part being quite secluded. It is situated on The Dolaucothi Estate, which includes several good walks. The Dolacothi gold mine is adjacent and as a resident on the site you get free access to the main area but you need to pay to enter the mine.
The wardens are volunteers, extremely helpful and friendly and the place was spotless.
The only downside is you are out in the sticks a bit. There is a good pub (The Brunant Arms), that serves food, about a mile and a quarter away, a little steep in parts, but a pleasent walk along a quiet road. They also except dogs in certain areas of the pub.
In all, a great 'get away from it all site' there is no toilet block, or shop with in walking distance, so will need to be stocked up before you arrive. Lampeter is a few miles away by car, but well worth a visit.

This is one of my favourite sites, set in a well maintained part of the estate. Mostly grass pitches with some hardstanding and easy access for larger caravans. This is a quite site without facilities or pot wash but is ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Lampeter is the nearest town with a mixture of shops and modern supermarkets. There are some fantastic walks with breathtaking views just a short drive away.
Red kites often fly over and other beautiful birds visit the site.
The site is opposite the Dolaucothi gold mine, if you stay on the site it would be worth a visit to go down the mine. There is a small shop and cafe there too.
There is a footpath that makes a nice dog walk but it may not be buggy friendly and gets muddy after heavy rain.
There are a couple of pubs within a short drive that sell food and on a Friday the fresh fish man parks up in Lamperter.
There are no cycle paths or play parks but children are welcome on the site.
Bad bits. You do have to drive every where even if you just want a daily paper or a loaf of bread.
