Stopped here for one night on our tour of Wales on the recommendation of other reviews. The site owners very helpful, the toilet block is new & immaculate with plenty of hot water. Pitches very spacious some with hard standing around the out side. This site caters for all types of camping. Tesco not too far, as is the town and a very reasonable £15 P/N including electric hook up. Highly recommend this site. The views from the site are really good. And is very easy to find. We never ventured into Cardigan so can't pass comment. Would come back to site if in area again.

Visited this site for 2 nights, , great location as could get local taxi in to town for £5 each way,
but easier than trying to park a 24ft motorhome.
Owners very friendly and helpful and would definitely go back again.
A real gem of a site with stunning views. We would recommend a visit to people as the toilet block is all new and spotless.
We have a large dog and there was loads of room to walk him without any fuss.
Get down to this place and give it a try. Well worth it.

Just stayed on this gem of a site for the weekend. Facilities block extremely clean and showers lovely and warm. Tesco literally 10 minutes walk and another fifteen minutes on into town. I couldn't fault this site and have already decided to go back next weekend. The couple that run the site are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet and have let us leave our caravan there all week free of charge to avoid us towing it home and back again. Also gave us a parting gift of a box of eggs from their own chickens. Can't recommend this site highly enough.

We were the first people to stay here whilst the site was still under construction. We gave the site 100% on what we experienced at that time + the vision we were given of the completed site.
However, when we returned in November, we were disappointed to find that the shower block (as beautiful as it is) was not heated (it has solar panels) but when we were there it was freezing & blowing a gale, so we were unable to use it. The EHU was so limited that we couldn't boil a kettle or use a heater - anytime we tried to use any electrical item we tripped the RCD. I spent most of my time at the EHU re-setting the RCD. If a site advertises that it is open all year round, then it should cater for winter visitors!
|
Management response: Please note the hookups are all 13amp. We couldn't help that the weather was bad in November, and there are radiators in the showers block. |

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a little break and stayed there for 1 night only but will definitely be going back.
It was easy to find, and as it's just off the bypass you would never say! it has wonderful views of the mountains around, quiet, spacious and very clean.
I will highly recommended to anyone, and it was just what we needed. It's in an ideal location as your literally 5 minutes from cardigan town and there is a tesco's few minutes away.
We didn't take the children this time but will do as there is plenty of room for them to run around and play and some of the trees there have fairy lights on them which looks stunning at night.

My husband and I stayed here during our tour of this part of the welsh coast and even though we weren't struck on Cardigan itself, the site was fantastic.
Very friendly, laid back owners who left us to chose our own pitch and pay the following day, very knowledgeable about the area and happy to chat and give advice.
The site was lovely, clean and spacious, peaceful and relaxing. An easy walk into Cardigan with several 'local' type pubs and plenty of attractions to drive to in the area especially for families.
I would thoroughly recommend this site.

Smashing little site, easy to find just outside Cardigan (easy walking distance) and hardstanding so less mess in van, and plenty of room on them, no one likes to be squeezed in like a sardine.
Very nice newly built toilet/shower block, and entrance on main road so easy to get to all beaches of which many are 'Blue flag' and have life guards through the summer.
Found some great eateries within 10 min's drive, and town really is an easy walk for more.
For walking Pembroke coastal path is better than Cardiganshire but that's not so far away, and if you like walks it's worth making a day out of it.
Will certainly visit again.

Me and my family stayed three nights here and it was lovely. Owners was extremely friendly and helpful could not ask for better! Showers and toilet block was a godsend very clean and hot showers! My seven year old daughter loved seeing the horses every morning and the little play area. I took my dog with us too and there was no problem with owners or visitors there either. Beaches were great, not much around the surrounding areas but went out in car to nearby towns. We went to New Quay and took a boat trip to see the dolphins it was a fantastic experience. We all had a great time it was a lovely peaceful holiday would go again.

Last minute booking for a long weekend in our motorhome. The campsite is easy to find off the A487 and the owners are very friendly and approachable. The ground is flat with plenty of space between pitches and the shower/toilet blocks are small but extremely clean and tidy. It was quiet and peaceful at night.
As this area gets very busy in the summer and parking is difficult in the coastal villages, we would recommend walking to Cardigan (15 mins) and using the Cardi Bach bus service, which goes along the coast from Cardigan to Newquay.
The driver was very friendly and it’s a great way to see the beautiful views. We got off at Llangranog and walked along the wonderful coast path, had a fantastic lunch at the patio café and took the bus back later in the day.
We had a lovely weekend, and would recommend this camp site to others.

This is a fantastic site with friendly owners. Nothing is too much trouble. The site has a lovely quiet setting and is run by community minded hosts. Enough space for small family games. Gorgeous views and super sunsets.
For shopping tesco is so handy. Just 400 yards away but well out of sight. Cardigan is a 15 minute walk and has good pubs and lovely curry house on a boat! A tad expensive but high quality food. Fantastic local beaches like Poppit Mwnt Llangranog Cwm ty du etc.
Facilities such as showers toilet block very clean.
We will return and tell others. Thanks Sian. Regards Mark and Kate from Sheffield.
