Site was clean and presentable, electric was way of coin operated, £1. Which so happened to be good value, over 4 days only cost us £3. 00, but there was some credit from previous occupier, about a £1 or so.
Later on on the first day we were told that the gates would be locked at 20. 00 hrs, not so good, should have been told at time of booking or when we paid, how ever did not affect us, but nay affect families that stay. All in all we would go back again.
P. S no facilities on site.

After 2 nights with a groupon deal my wife is hooked on camping.
No showers just portable loos which did smell a little but then again show me a portable loo that doesn't.
Site is brilliant for children with animals and a good play area, our pitch looked out over the fishing lake which was a joy to wake up to.
Breakfast was a good start to the day with the staff being very polite and courteous.
Would we go again?? Yes indeed.

Just enjoyed a great weekend at this site, wonderful location and lovely well marked spacious pitches with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
However although its being described as a basic site it really does need to address a few things.
When we arrived we found all the rubbish from the site being burned on the ground just inside the entrance to the camping field (bottles, cans and tins and even an old mattress).
Only two of the 3 portable loos were in use and they we hardly clean.
The water tap is a 10min. Round trip to the other side of the park in the caravan field.
It is a lovely site but with a little thought and investment it could be a great site, a few people we spoke to said they wouldn't return because of these issues which is a shame because it wouldn't take much to put right.

Just back from a 2 night stay via Groupon. Very disappointed there was no electric, toilets or showers.
The view was lovely and the breakfast which was included was good but wouldn't have paid £5. 50 for a breakfast anywhere. We thought that the price for staying was a lot as we usually pay less for a CL with electric and toilet.
The staff were friendly and there was a nice play area for the children. We didn't visit the children's farm as there didn't look as if there were many animals there. Pretty little shop units there and nice places to sit on a sunny day.
We can cope with our own toilet (there is also one in the restaurant) and can use our own shower provided there is electricity. We would not stay there again

This is a very basic site with only three portaloos (take your own loo roll none provided in loos) and a tap, no shower or wash facilities, but is in a quiet and beautiful location with lovely walks through forests and farmland.
Pitches are a good size and clearly marked out. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and you clean up after them. At the actual Farm Park itself there is a cafe/restaurant which serves cooked breakfasts/lunches and cream teas which are delicious.
A few gift type shops, small child's playground and a petting farm. There is also two fishing lakes at which we had a lovely day fishing and caught a few carp. Several nice pubs in the area and takeaways about 10 mins drive towards Nuneaton.
Probably not the best place for a long stay (due to lack of washing facilities) but for a weekend break of relaxing, walking and fishing ideal. Only down side is the lack of showers and the loos are a bit smelly and no loo roll provided. You get what you pay for though and it is good value for what you get.

We have just got back from here after a cheap 2 night deal.
The facilities are 3 portaloos in the field and a water tap, so don't go here expecting hot running water and showers. That said the site was peaceful and there are some lovely walks through the woods just next to the camping field.
There is another loo, which always has toilet paper, in the shopping village which has some nice little shops there. I would recommend an ice cream, and if you like really sour sweets try the sour cherry balls!
Anyway back to the camping, I would go back again as long as I remember the Kampa Khazi and my own loo roll!
I think my son would also like to go back to the animal farm and the play park which are great for the kids and my OH would recommend the breakfast in the cafe.
