The site comprises a large sloping field with 8 unmarked pitches around the perimeter (plus static) with distant views of the sea and Manorbier Camp. Rustic facilities comprise a bunker shower/toilet with one WC, wash hand basin (no hot water!), and shower (20p for 3 minutes), second ‘portacabin’ WC (no hot water!) and no washing up area. Electric is sensitive 10 amp supply – one appliance to be used at a time.
The site is accessed directly of the A4139 at a narrow section of the road and at the crown of the hill with limited signage to the site (missed access first time).
Very peaceful site with minimal rules and regulation – just common sense, quite refreshing. Coastal walk 15 minutes from site offers some amazing views (if you have a head for heights) and access to isolated sandy bays. Lots of quite county lanes from site provide relatively traffic free cycling. Manorbier station is 1 mile from site with trains to Pembroke Dock/Tenby/Swanage.
A 10 minute walk across two fields (one a lovely meadow grass field) takes you into Manorbier with its local shop/Post Office and pub. Bus stop from field with hourly buses to Tenby and Pembroke Dock.
The site is adult only; however the static unit is hired out to families with children?
Very basic site, but ideal for some tranquil R&R and an escape from the regimented rules and regulations of club and commercial sites.

Stayed here for four nights in August.
Lovely, well kept campsite with friendly and helpful owners. Basic facilities and only one shower but with a site of this size not a problem. Some of the pitches has a slight slope but ours was perfect.
Stunning coastal views in a quiet location 7 miles from Tenby. 8 mins walk to local shop, 12 mins to friendly village pub which needs a bit of TLC. Our dog loved the walk to the village across the fields.
Had two good coastal path walk, one to Tenby and the other to Lamphey via Freshwater East. In both cases got the bus back.
Recommended for adults only.
Note the site is on a hill and if a SW storm blows off the Atlantic it will hit you head on !

Lovely quiet site in a field next to the A4139 road with easy access on & off, good spacious pitches with beautiful views of the country side & walks through the lower fields to the village which has a good pub which is dog friendly and that serves good hearty meals, also the beach break café is well worth a visit.
As with one reviewer mentioned about the layout we pitched on No 5 which is slopping back to the road hedge a little but with one chock on one side it was no bother at all, there are some pitches that are level, i`m sure you could pre book one if you ask.
The local bus services runs every hour from the village which is handy but you could also catch it just 100 yrds away from the site entrance.
Basic facilities on-site but cleaned regular every day, lovely friendly owners who helped my husband in setting up levelling our van as he was suffering with a bad ankle.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June. Stunning coastal views in a quiet location. Close to local shop, friendly village pub and easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Bus stop near the site and a railway station 10 minutes walk away.
Lovely, well kept campsite with friendly and helpful owners.
Will definitely be back.

Brilliant clean site basic site (the kind I like). Really good shower 20p 3 minutes. Clean loo and extra portaloo. Beautiful walk to manobier via flower meadows.
About 10 mins to pub and cafe and 5 more to castle and beach. Field is on a slope and best position is on the left edge about halfway down. You'll get the views and the evening sun. Cafe 10/10.
Good beer at pub but pub could do with some elbow grease. Food - could do much better but okish. Village shop well stocked.

General tenor of previous reports endorsed, but with reservations. The main attraction of the site are its views over Manorbier Bay.
Unfortunately the layout of the field is such that the four double hook-ups are all in the top-end near the A4139, from which ground slopes up to a low ridge (approx 25% of the available area) and then the remaining 75% falls away towards the coast.
Unless therefore you're lucky enough to get one of the two pitches at the centre of the ridge or can squeeze in alongside, it's likely that the view will be obscured.
If you're planning to stay for a while, it's worth checking which pitches are available to avoid disappointment.

Found this campsite on here and booked at the last minute and very glad that we did. The location is perfect and the view is fantastic, across fields and out to sea.
This is a basic site with a portaloo, plus another toilet and shower in a little bunker type building. The facilities were always spotless and more than adequate for the small number of units accepted on the huge field.
It is a sloping field, but nothing that chocks can't cope with, and I believe you can request one of the more level pitches if available.
It's an easy 10 minute walk through two fields and along the road into the middle of the village, then another 5 or 10 minutes to the castle and the beach.
There's a well stocked Londis in the village and a tearoom.
The Castle Inn serves basic pub grub which is very tasty and good value for the large portions.
All in all a great site to stay if you want to get away from it all, though as the previous reviewer said, this is not adults only as advertised.

I agree with the other reviews of this site. A lovely spot with great views and within easy walking distance of shops, a great pub with excellent food (the Castle Inn) and a great beach.
At present there is only one toilet and shower but I think these facilities are being improved on. We stayed here for just over a week and the weather was wonderful. The only downside for us was that it wasn't adult only and after the first week a couple of families with young children arrived which spoilt our peace and quiet.
The owner explained that this was only for this season but I would check before you book if adult only is what you require. All in all would we go again? Definitely!

Like one of the other reviewers we stumbled across this site after looking at several in the area. The view sold it to us. We went away on the spur of the moment so could not pre-book. We were not that impressed with the lack of facilities but, for a short stay, it was fine. We went back the following week with our grandson, again for a short stay. He thought it was wonderful.
It is a pleasant, easy walk to the local village, beach, pub, shop, cafe, castle and the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Tenby is only a few minutes drive away. We were lucky with the weather.
20p for a 2 minute shower makes you organised, that's for sure. As the nightly fees are reasonable we thought that maybe the owner could add a pound or two to the fees and make the showers free. The facilities were always spotless even when well used (the second visit was the beginning of the school holidays)
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend it to those who like peace, countryside, fantastic views and are prepared to compromise on facilities
