Stayed here for three nights while visiting family. After an 11 hr drive it was good to get the tent up and relax. We chose this site after reading some good reviews and its nice to say we weren't disappointed. It's a lovely well kept and secluded site, even though it's just off the dual carriageway you can't really hear the traffic.
The pitches are huge and well drained (it poured down on the last night we stayed)
We especially liked the fire pits on each pitch, we enjoyed a couple of fires with wood we bought from the site (not bad sized bags for the money I've paid more at other sites).
In all a cracking site with friendly owners and well kept facilities. As for the price. You can't get a campsite this good for only £15. ! Plus you can use the washing machine and dryer for only a quid via the honesty box we never needed it but it's nice to see owners who don't rip you off when your there. BARGAIN
The only downside was the cockerels at 4:30am but I did pack some ear plugs.

My wife and myself spent the last week here and iv been on lots of campsites and by far this is the most relaxing holiday I have ever had.
Toilets/shower block were spotless, beautiful surroundings, friendly chickens, real campfires and staff that couldn't be more helpful.
I have already recommended this campsite to friends and am not the sort to normally leave reviews but to be fair I feel its deserved.
I will definitely be returning.

We visited Kinrowan earlier this summer after arriving at a different campsite to find it was horrid, flooded, dirty and noisy.
With 2 young children, and a bit desperate, we rang Kinrowan at 6pm and asked if we could stay one night. We initially discounted it online weeks before, as we thought it was too close to the dual carriageway, but to be honest it is so shielded by trees that we didn't notice at all during our entire stay.
And what a site! We ended up staying all week. Free range chickens to greet us every morning (watch out for Morgana the cheeky chicken - hilarious watching them hoover up the bowl of Cheerios dropped by my 4 year old!)
The camp site is a good sized field with just three electric pitches and three non-electric, and of course the static homes and cottage. To be honest, you have as much space as you could possibly want, each area with it's own slate-edged fire pit.
It was just so peaceful and sheltered - bat watching at night whilst enjoying marshmallows over the open fire (firewood for sale)
For a small site, the facilities were superb. Just one family sized shower cubicle and two toilet cubicles, but then when only shared with max of 6 tents/camper vans they were never busy, and were new and always spotless.
There is a laundry/washing room with hot water sinks, with a washing machine and a tumble drier run with an honesty box per wash, and a very useful tourist info stand.
For a campsite in their price range, it really is incredible value for money.
The nature garden was really sweet, and the site was always spotless and peaceful. The owners were so enthusiastic and friendly, and the look on my four year old's face when she was asked to help feed their free range chickens and collect the eggs (and was then told to take an egg for her breakfast) was priceless.
With the dual carriageway close, getting out and about was so easy. Eden project took about 20 minutes, large morrisons at Liskeard 5 minutes, Trago Mills about 10 minutes if you've forgotten anything, Looe 10 minutes.
All in all, a fantastic site, and one we will definitely be revisiting.

We found this place last summer, as we live in Devon and love Cornwall. We found them most welcoming. They have open slated ring fires, free range chickens where you can buy fresh eggs and they even bake fantastic cakes if pre ordered for your arrival. This site is natural and surrounded by Cornish slate and a free and easy place to be. We have been campers for many years mainly at deepest Cornwall but this place we cant resist and will be our first port of call this camping year. We have already introduced one set of friends and will be bringing some more.
