 We had a very nice weekend stay at Wykeham Grange, we received a warm friendly welcome the site is very well kept the facilities were always clean. A great site situated between Pickering and Scarborough on the edge of Dalby Forrest, a good base for some fantastic walks

We have stayed at this wonderful small quiet clean site about 5 times this year (since April) we have our caravan stored here and will ring Kevin/Karen to ask if they have a pitch free for a weekend and if so book it and they site it for us ready to just pop the legs down hook up and chill out.
The site may be small but the view is enormous, its really great waking up in a morning and looking out over the valley (weather permitting)
There are as yet no showers/toilets but we have been told they are planning on installing some.
The site unfortunately does not allow children and that is why it is so quiet.
The site is within a 5 minute drive to Scarborough or 7mins to Filey and is at the edge of the moors
Both the owner's (Kevin or Karen) are really friendly and very helpful and there is an added bonus of freshly laid free range eggs from their own chickens (subject to demand)
We always leave this site feeling relaxed and cheerful
There is a local pub 2miles away and always seems busy.

This is a very nice well maintained Adults only CL site in a perfect location with views over the Valley. All pitches are hard standing. The site is now owned and run by Karen & Kevin Rooney. The setting in the North Yorkshire Park is perfect for walks in the forest or Cycling. The Caravan/Motorhome storage is a useful option as Kevin will pull the Van out and put it on pitch if required.

Very clean and tidy site with lovely views of the countryside. We keep our caravan in storage here and have come many times during the past year with our two dogs. It is so easy to come even for one night. All amenities are easily accessible and clean.
The walks nearby are fantastic - Wykeham Forest with its paths through it is very quiet compared to Dalby Forest and equally good for biking and walking. The local pub (Downe Arms) is very welcoming and serves good food - our dogs love sleeping under our table while we relax with a good meal in the bar.
From here we have walked the Tabular Hills and much of the Cleveland Way.
A great site situated between two centres of Pickering and Scarborough on a quiet peaceful site.
Owners extremely helpful and welcoming. Thanks Heather and Graham for a great year at Wykeham.

Visited this site with my two dogs, along with daughter and husband in their caravan.
Friendly site set in beautiful countryside with spectacular views.
Clean and easy to use disposal facility and water point plus electric hook up and hardstanding.
Very well maintained grounds. Local pub nearby although a good walk.
There is a very good convenience store only a short drive away at West Ayton.
Easy access to beautiful forest walks. An excellent location for a vacation in your van and your well behaved dog.
