This site is a gem. You arrive down a driveway and camping is to the left beyond a grass area housing goats, chickens, reindeer, donkeys, all presented immaculately.

The pitches all have electric hookup and own tap and each pitch is separated from your neighbours with grass and trees.

The toilet facilities were best I have ever come across. They are clean, tidy and warm. The showers are extremely well maintained and using them was a dream. Having toilet, basin, shower, shaver socket all in one room was fantastic. No hopping about from one place to another.

The owners respected our privacy but were available if needed.

I would say that there were around 10 - 12 pitches with hookup and tap and were all laid to gravel. As another review has said the gravel is laid out so that turning a unit does not have to go over any grassy area.

Highly recommend this site for overnight stop either going north or south or as a base to explore Birmingham. A must is to visit the canal area in Birmingham city. Go in the evening and enjoy watching narrow boats in a cosmopolitan atmosphere of bars and restaurants to suit any taste.

There is only one little down side in that is about one mile away from the M42 which causes a slight noise. Nothing significant though.

What a fantastic site this is. Everything about it has been well planned and implemented, down to the curved grass edging opposite the pitches to make reversing onto your pitch easier without churning up the well kept grass.

Setting aside the fact that you are a Stones throw from the M42, it is a very tranquil setting. Yes, there is some traffic noise from the nearby motorway, but it did not bother us at all. The pitches are all lovely gravel hard standing and of very generous proportions. Between each pitch is a lovely large grass area with trees and shrubs, adding to the secluded feel of the site. I would say there is at least 10 metres between each pitch, all of which back onto a woodland at the back of the site and look back over the grass and the animals kept there.

There were ducks, chickens, rabbits (wild), goats and of course the wonderful reindeer. It was lovely to simply sit and watch the animal antics!

The site is adults only, further adding to the peace and quiet. Each pitch has its own tap, electric and grey water drain, we elected not to use our tap as when we lifted the cover to fill the container we found a nest of baby birds there, so we left them in peace and used a neighbours tap. Free wifi is also available, the showers and toilets were immaculate. In fact, the whole site was immaculate.

The only thing you could fault it on is its proximity to the motorway, but you know that before you book so this should not be an issue.

Probably the best cl we have ever been too, we will be back!

What a gem! We camped here just for the one night and were hugely impressed. We were allocated a spacious hard pitch right next to the toilet/ shower block, which is a gorgeous, clean and well heated cabin containing a couple of toilet/ shower cubicles as well as laundry facilities and washing up point. There are chickens, ducks and goats to say hello to, as well as the reindeer (gorgeous creatures!).

Pretty good value - we paid 17. 50 for pitch with electrical hook up, and there's free wi fi so we didn't miss the rugby! You can also buy free range eggs from the house.

We will definitely be returning. If I had to mention any negatives it would probably only be that we would have liked to choose our own spot (the place was pretty quiet and we usually prefer to be tucked away a bit more), also the drinking water tap didn't seem to be working, although we got water from the washing up point so fine really (although it wouldn't have been any good if we wanted to fill our huge water container e. G. On a longer stay). We will definitely be returning!

My name may be shown as Disappointed2012 but definitely not with this site. Reindeer Park Lodge on the Kingsbury road A4097, must be one of the best certified licensed sites (open all year) we have stayed on (so far).

Its open to tourers and tents. The site facilities are first rate, with electric hookup, fresh water and grey water outlets on each pitch. The toilet/shower block, with walk-in shower (two of each), is kept very clean. It also has a washing machine and drier and pot washing sink.

There is a dog walking area in the wood at the side of the site which we didn't use as we don't have a dog. It is a very peaceful site, with just slight noise from the M42 at night but hey this is nothing when the site itself is so wonderfully kept.

Kingsbury Water Park is just a 10 min drive away with some lovely walks. Coventry, Birmingham, Tamworth (Drayton Fun/Water park) and the NEC are all approx half hour away from the site.

Even the Cotswolds are within easy reach as is Warwick and its castle. The owners also have a few chickens (no smells) which you can see from your caravan and buy their fresh eggs.

They are open all year and also have a B and B and a pine lodge you can hire if not wishing to use your caravan, motorhome or tent (these are not open at Christmas).

They have reindeer and the next time we we use the site we will ask if we can see them and take our grandchildren with us.

This was the site we chose for our first (shakedown) trip with our new trailer tent.

It is a fantastic site, spacious hardstanding pitches with electric hookup and water.

Showers and toilets were spacious and immaculately kept as was the site.

If one was looking for a peaceful, tranquil site, then this is in the top ten. Although there was slight road noise from the Mway it didn't detract or spoil the peaceful and tranquil nature of the site.

A wildlife friendly site with birdsong all day, wild rabbits (and their babies) frolicking about. The site also has Reindeer, miniature donkeys and chickens (the camps free range eggs suppliers).

Too many local good pubs within five miles to mention as well as too many attractions and places to visit (do a google search for these and you will be surprised at the number of results within a thirty to forty-five minute drive).

I would definitely recommend the site to any who want a chilled out, relaxing and peaceful experience.

Lovely site, reindeer are lovely, but not very quiet, as you can hear the M42 quite clearly, even in the caravan, so if this site was somewhere else more quiet away from any main line roadways, it would be quiet and idyllic.

Showers are lovely, and roomy, 2 shower rooms, which have a large walk in shower, toilet, basin, shaver plugs, and well worth it.

The site is nicely presented too with landscaped type rockery and little pond

As I say anywhere else this would be smashing, but it's the road noise from the M42 and a very busy A4097 that spoilt it for me.

This is one of the best sites we have stayed on. It is an absolute gem. We stayed for two days and had the most peaceful time ever. Loved the Reindeer, chickens and donkey.

The owner and her two dogs were very friendly. Free range eggs were delicious, (don't go home without some). The entire site is spotless from the grounds to the shower rooms. Hardstanding, e/h and water at every pitch.

There is an electronic gate at the entrance, the owner gives you the code when you book. There is a car boot opposite on sunday mornings. Tamworth is 5 miles away.

Asda superstore at Minworth. Kingsbury village 5 minute drive with local shops and pubs. Kingsbury water park and large garden centre close by.

Not much else to say except we can't wait to go back. If you are looking for peace and quiet then you cannot go wrong with this site.
