Just spent a few days at Talli Ho. The owner's are brilliant and more than willing to help.
The site is quite big and very open so loads of space for the kids. Sometimes a little too open in the wind so a windbreak could be useful.
The toilets are of a good size for a family to use together, there is a mop and bucket provided should it need a quick sweep out. There are only 2 units and a shed toilet. My only suggestion would be for electric points for dryers, razors etc in them.
Ice packs can be frozen with the owner's who also provide ice creams, breakfast and pony rides upon request.
Overall very good and extremely friendly.

My gorgeous family and I have just arrived back from an amazing weekend at Talli Ho Campsite on Anglesey. It is the most charming, family friendly, warm and welcoming site we have visited.
We have a 3 very young children (1, 3 & 5) and the simple camping style and excellent facilities suited us perfectly ensuring we had a fun and relaxing few days.
The main benefits to this lovely site are
1. It is absolutely charming.
2. Safe environment. The field is completely enclosed and instead of being rammed with tents the site is open in the centre so you can let even the smallest one's run wild with confidence.
3. Play equipment. There is a sand pit, a trampoline, a play house, ride ons, swings, slide need I go on??? Again all in a safe enclosed environment.
4. Family shower rooms. They have 2 large, clean and light family shower rooms which have a toilet, shower, sink, bench, loo roll, hand soap and loads of space to fit the whole family in. A huge bonus when camping.
5. The Forge. This is a covered area in the centre of the site where you can get together with fellow campers for a real camp-fire. There is a fire pit and loads of benches to sit on whilst toasting marsh-mallows. We had a couple of lovely nights there.
6. Ruth's AGA breakfasts. We ordered bacon and egg baps which were delivered to our tent along with a cup of tea. A fabulous treat for Mum and Dad when you've got your hands full with toddlers.
I can't say enough good things about Talli Ho. We had such a beautiful weekend (which turned into 5 days as we didn't want to leave). All I can say is go there and enjoy!

What a gem! We recently spent two nights at Talli-Ho with our 4 children, aged 8, 6 and 4 year old twins. If you are looking for a site where you can totally relax and know that the children are safe, and having a fantastic time, then this is for you. There is a great children's play area and pets corner. The children really enjoyed meeting violet and primrose, the resident pigs, who were more than happy to finish off any leftovers. Pony rides on Meg the pony was definietly the highlight of our stay for the twins.
There are two family shower rooms with toilets and a separate toilet. The toilet and shower rooms were spotlessly clean.
The central field shelter with open fire gives this site a real social focal point. It was great to sit around the fire at night with a glass of wine, comparing notes on our day out with fellow campers. The children were also thrilled to be able to toast their marshmallows on a open fire.
For those of us that enjoy camping, but like a little pampering too, Talli-Ho offer delicious breakfast rolls, delivered to your door - fantastic!
Anglesey has so many beautiful sandy beaches we were spoilt for choice, but Newborough beach with its surrounding pine forest and spectacular views is hard to beat. No wonder Kate and William choose to live on this beautiful island.
I'm surprised there aren't more glowing reviews about this site, but I think I know why - people want to keep it a secret.
We will definitely be back.

We have just visited this campsite for 2 nights and it was perfect, very welcoming owners Ruth & Jamie who were very friendly.
Lovely surroundings, great for the adults and the children, with play area & Animals to see, which was all enclosed by fencing, so very safe for the children.
The facilities were very clean and well maintained.
The surrounding area was beautiful only a short drive to the nearest beach which was breathtaking, we spent all day there.
There is also a nearby shop that is open till 9pm which was very handy.
They have a shelter in the middle of the field with a fire pit & benches, just a brilliant idea, we spent both nights under it with the fire pit on very cosy :).
We really enjoyed it at Tali Ho and are definitely going to be returning very soon.
Thankyou for a perfect camping experience, see you soon x

Just spent 4 nights at Talli Ho and it was very enjoyable.
The site was very quiet, we were the only ones there but that helped us as we only picked up our unit the day before and so were very worried about looking complete idiots erecting the awning etc. In front of seasoned campers.
Access to the site is down a long narrow lane that does have passing points but I would not like to meet a caravan on the lane as the passing points did seem quite narrow.
The site has 3 toilets, 2 of which also have showers and an outside pot wash area - this had no light or hot water so not very good, however we did not need to use it as we had hot water in the caravan. I would not like to wash pots in cold water.
The plots are very generous and the owners are very accommodating. It was a real treat to be greeted by the owner with a half dozen free range eggs which were lovely and a really nice thought.
There is no playground but full access is given to the site owners children's play area.
In the centre of the site there is a covered area with benches and a log burner which I think is a really good idea and very sociable.
There is not much in the area and if you want a site where you can walk to the local pub or to be on the beach this site is not for you. However if you want a peaceful, tranquil setting and a base for you so that you can go trekking or drive to the local beaches then this site is for you, being central Angelsey you are never far from things and the scenery is beautiful.
Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead.
Overall my impression is that if you want a quiet site this site is for you. I will be going back.

This is a small site with 5 grass spots with EHU and 10 without, all are a decent size.
The field is quite flat and level with a large shelter in the middle with benches and a communal fire pit (logs £5 per bag) BBQs allowed off ground.
Cost for 2 adults and a child with EHU was £20 per night.
Toilets, there is a double portable cabin on site with combined toilet and free shower, ideal for a family, not so good if the site is full. The first shower seems to have first take on the gas heated water so if you are in the second you may well lose it mid shower. There is also a toilet in a wooden shed which appears to have been recently installed.
I would suggest that the toileting facilities, whilst quite new at the moment, wont stay that way for long and are already starting to look tatty.
Pot Washing facilities, one sink outside the toilet block, no light and no hot water, basic need if you are there with a family.
There is a play area used by the owners children which campers can use, this feels like it is in their garden (it is).
Overall, I thought it was quite expensive for what was available, the owners should perhaps be in the process of installing permanent toilets, showers and washing facilities with hot water as the ones in situ won't last, the play area should perhaps be set aside too, near to the field.
The site is inland, down a long narrow lane also used by a stables(we didn't meet any caravans on it) we noticed there were few passing spots on it which would prove interesting if 2 caravans met mid lane.
For us it was perhaps too far out, no pub within reasonable walking distance and a drive to any of the coast, you also need to be a member of the caravan club to use it (£40).
We enjoyed the stay, the owners were friendly, it was quiet which is what we wanted, but probably wouldn't return for the above reasons.

We are enjoying our last evening at Talli Ho with a cold beer overlooking some amazing scenery. It is so peaceful and relaxing. My 4 and 5 year old boys have loved the park and the space to run and have fun. My husband is totally chilled! On arrival we met with a warm welcome from Ruth. All the facilities needed for a camping holiday are here, all very clean (cleaned at least once a day if not more). The site is small but that's how we like it. Location is great close to some lovely villages and amazing bays. We will definitely be returning to Talli Ho.

Stayed for 3 nights over the August bank holiday weekend with my wife and daughter in our mid size Aspen tent. First of all I would like to say that Ruth, the campsite owner was extremely nice and helpful from the initial booking enquiry, to the warm and friendly reception upon arrival (despite me needing to call her twice for directions to find the camp) sorry Ruth ! A little tip is to ignore the sat-nav’s final instructions to turn right onto a farm track and instead take the next right, 150yds further along the main road, opposite a wonderful yellow, newly built house/mansion that during our visit was nearing completion. (A larger sign for the campsite may also be useful) Both Ruth and her husband met us upon arrival and directed us to the camp field at the rear of their wonderful farm house estate.
The field itself was pretty flat and easily large enough to fit the stated maximum of 10 pitches (could probably fit 2/3 more quite comfortably) and there was plenty of room in the middle for kids to play. (No EHU available) Pitches are not marked, so we chose to camp adjacent to the horse field where it was a little more open and unsheltered because there was very little wind and my daughter is obsessed with horses. There is tree/bush lined shelter around the perimeter of the remaining three sides of the field if the weather wasn’t too kind. We enjoyed a wonderful view across the countryside in addition to the attention of the two very tame horses in the field.
This is a new campsite but we thought we’d ‘take a risk’ having no previous reviews to consider. Although this site offers lots of positives, I feel that there are a few essential improvements that will need to be addressed quickly in order to ensure it’s future success. These include the following;
The owners have invested into two excellent ‘bathroom’ facilities that house a shower/toilet/sink in each facility, unisex usage, these are kept spotlessly clean throughout, and they are both modern and spacious, however during the morning ‘rush hour’ because all of the camp facilities are combined within the two units, campers using the showers also block usage of the toilets and this can cause long and frustrating queues, even if you just wanted a quick pee ! We saw campers queuing for more than 40 mins to use the facilities. This could be easily rectified by installing maybe one or two more separate and individual toilets. Other simple improvements would be a plug socket for a hair dryer in the bathrooms.
Another couple of gripes that again could be easily rectified, the washing up sink attached to the outside of the toilet/shower block had no light? and only cold water was available? I found this strange when the showers/sinks in the bathrooms offered plenty of free flowing hot water. We have head torches etc… so the lack of a light wasn’t a major issue but a light above the washing up sink and hot water in which to wash up, are in my opinion, basic needs which I would expect to be met.
Onto the positives and there are lots…. As mentioned earlier we found the owners extremely warm, helpful and welcoming, the setting is lovely and peaceful and amongst some very picturesque countryside, yet also centrally situated for most of the Anglesey attractions. The owners also allow younger children to use their own children’s playground/trampoline. Another nice little option available to campers, is the facility to order breakfast baps to be delivered to your tent the next morning along with tea/coffee etc. (We didn’t use this service because I think it’s cheating…. ! but they did look very nice and I must admit I was a little envious, when the deliveries were being made to some of the other tents)
All in all, a good little site that given a little more time and effort I’m confident will grow from good to great. We enjoyed our stay and the owners already have plans in place for an improved children’s play area / pets corner and possibly even EHU in the future. We would like thank Talli-Ho Farm for an enjoyable bank holiday stay and we also wish you all the success in the future.

We attended this camp site on the first weekend it opened and found it by accident. The camp site is situated in a beautiful area, surrounded by lovely views.
The site is small (holds about 10 large tents) and this was perfect for our family (plenty of space).
The area is slightly remote, making it very peaceful but lovely beaches are a short drive away. The children loved the site, particularly the horses in the next field. There is a brand new shower block which is immaculate. The owner, Ruth cannot be rated highly enough, she was very helpful and friendly and even treated our children to a pony ride which made their weekend. Prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be booking to go back very soon.
