See my previous entry, but we came back so that must say something! It is a great site, and we just love the area. The campsite is as before, a great place for the kids with brilliant swimming pools, table tennis and this year we rented the tennis court!
We cycled around the area again, and the ride past the golf course and on to Kerascoet is well worth doing. It’s also worth going to Trevignon for Moules Frites, and a great beach.
The site was very busy, but that was OK. Unfortunately we had a slightly psychotic French family to the front and an inconsiderate Dutch family to the rear who would not shut up!
All of that does not detract from the fact that it is a great campsite in a lovely area.

We stayed here over the Jubilee holiday week, so glad we did, not only because the weather at home was appalling, but also because it's such a lovely place.
This was our first time driving and camping abroad so we opted to cheat a bit by choosing to book through a holiday company (Canvas - who were fab; and cheap) and choosing to have the frame tent, erected and fully kitted out just waiting for us to move into! Le Glamping!
The campsite couldn't be faulted, it was clean and well maintained, and quiet at night, although I'm sure during the summer that's not always the case.
The kids loved the pools and slides, there were table tennis tables and various other activities for the smaller children (which we didn't use). The on site shop was well stocked and not expensive, there are plenty of hyper markets and supermarkets within a short driving distance though. The 'take-away' was good value for money. All the staff were very polite and friendly.
The toilet/shower block was always immaculate (which is more than can be said of the public toilets in towns that we visited, I wouldn't advise anyone to use them!) and we never had to wait to use showers.
Brittany is a beautiful part of France and there are plenty of lovely old towns to visit, even our 4 teenagers were never bored. Unfortunately we never managed to go the beach (although the weather was better than UK it wasn't that hot!) but from what we saw they would definitely be worth a look.
We would definitely stay here again.

We chose this site following extensive Google trawling for our first self supplied camping trip in France. We had been to the South of France the previous year in set up tents and loved the idea of using our own kit in France.
We arrived just before lunch, which is lucky as the reception closes between 12-2pm. We got our pitch and wrist bands (to access pools etc), and drove to the pitch. We were in a bay of 6, and at the back right (pitch 40). The pitch was a really good size, we have an Outwell Vermont l and it fitted no problem at all, with space for a car and bikes. Each pitch has EHU and a water tap, so is self sufficient. The people in the other bays were really friendly, and the kids played well together with the other French, Dutch and English families.
The site itself is large, but not overwhelming. There are static caravans, set up tents, camping pitches and hard standing for campervans etc. There are 3 pools and slides, which are excellent. One indoor pool, and a really nice shallow area for the little kids to splash about in. There are tennis courts, a driving range and a small pitch and putt golf course (all of which are extra), play grounds, skate park, large field to kick a ball around in which are brilliant for the kids, a bar, restaurant and take away.
The toilet blocks (of which there are two) are up to the usual French campsite standards, well equipped, immaculately clean and nonstop hot water. There are larger family showers, single showers all of which have plenty of seating and hanging space.
There was entertainment some nights, and Moules Frites nights etc, but this was quite low key and not rowdy. The location is great and everything is within easy reach of the campsite.
The local beach (Tahiti Beach) is amazing! There is a fantastic walk from the campsite, through a wood, past a great Cider farm (worth getting a few bottles) down to the beach. There is also the coastal path walk to Kerascoet, which is worth doing. The beach is really safe for kids, has excellent rock pooling further down the beach and a great island that is accessible at low tide. The water is a bit cold, but it is ok for swimming.
The local town is nice, Nevez, Has a good little restaurant called the Dolphin and a really useful Tourist Information centre, as well as an Intermarche.
The only down side was that we were there for the start of the ‘French Fortnight’, so it was really noisy for the first weekend but then quietened down after that.
Overall this is an excellent site, which caters really well for families and is so good we are going back again this year. We are also visiting BelleVue farm near Mellionnec which is also excellent. Cannot recommend this site highly enough!
