Have been to this site once before so knew what to expect. Confusing route into the site but a little better than last year as the road works had gone. We were shown to our grass pitch which was by the road and overhanging with trees. Rather waterlogged pitch and as to heavy rain forecast and using a motorhome it was a bit disconcerting.
There are no water taps near the pitch and facilities not great. Parts of the campsite shut off because of too wet pitches.
The site needs money spent on it and improvement all round as where it is situated is ideal for walking into Honfleur. Hope we don't stay there again too soon

This site is handy for town of hon fleury. But electrics dodgy. Facility's could be better and when we went very wet. No hard standing. Half site shut because of water logged pitches. We will not be staying here again found much better sites since. It was cheap but not very well cared for. Access is through town can be busy and easy to miss entrance then along way past to turn round.

Spent 4 nights on this site. Did not find the directions to the site particularly clear and ended up on the wrong road leading into the middle of a very busy Honfleur on a Sunday afternoon (you need to keep heading to the middle of the town and then take a right which looks like you are going into a car park - we didn't and ended up slap bang in the middle of town and then had to go miles out of town before we could get somewhere to turn and came in via a different route due to roadworks).
Did not find site staff overly friendly, but there again they were not rude and were probably struggling to cope with volume of people on a busy weekend. As site was very busy we expected it to be noisy at night but all was quiet from 10. 30pm onwards with the exception of 1 night when a crowd of Belgiums were chatting closeby until about 11. 30 pm. Site did become much quieter after the Monday.
Toilet facilities are basic but adequate (no toilet paper or seats, mixed sex showers and make sure you take flip flops if going for one). Ideal location for visiting Honfleur itself, it was lovely to be able to take a very short stroll (1 street from campsite) into town for an evening meal.
Pitch prices were reasonable for location. Current roadworks outside site make departing a particularly bumpy experience! but these will not be there for ever. All in all, was no better or worse than what we expected (we are particularly fussy about noise and own personal space!) and would use again if ever in area.

My partner and I had a wonderful few days here with my younger brother and sister at the beginning of July. It was about 24 euros per night for a large tent, a car and 4 people without electricity. We were given a choice of about 8 pitches on arrival, and were pleasantly surprised to see that almost every pitch was surrounded by fairly high hedges which provided a welcome bit of privacy (without blocking out the beautifully hot sun!).
he campsite is not huge and runs alongside a road which leads to the beach(Plage Du Butin), but it is surrounded by enough foliage that we really couldn't tell - and of course the positive is that it is only a few minutes walk to the enchanting harbour town of Honfleur in one direction and the long sandy stretches of beach in the other. One thing to mention about the beach, however, is that it is on the channel and directly faces industrial sites on the other side - this also makes the sea not so good for swimming in.
As for the facilities, there were no toilet seats in the ladies, and toilet paper and soap was not provided in any of the blocks. There were hot and cold showers (free), mirrors and one single european plug socket in the unisex shower block (no hair dryers). One fantastic point about staying on this site that I must not forget to mention was that every morning (even Suunday!) a delightfully chirpy baker brings round a selection of freshly baked french goods in the back of his car - he arrives around 8 / 8:30am and toots his horn briefly up and down the site to indicate his arrival, and the pastries that he sells are both delicious and not too expensive; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Well I think that is everything - please don't pass this site by; it really is perfect for visiting the delights of Honfleur!

Surprised that this site hasn't been reviewed before. It couldn't be any closer to the delights of Honfleur. In the town and opposite fantastic parks and walks. The facilities are basic and not many hook ups, but the chaps on reception were helpful and funny. There is road noise so probably better for a short stay. Very easy to find and great fun. Honfleur itself is touristy but is beautiful and well looked after
