Set in beautiful countryside on Loch Tummel, this is well worth a visit. Although the site was full, the owner was so helpful & found us a little spot with a beautiful view. Friendly welcome - this is a working site, so be prepared to drive past the heavy equipment, but it will not spoil your view. Level pitches, hook ups available if required, grass pitches down to the water. Very clean facilities in portacabin - very hot water for showers & washing up. We were so lucky with the weather that we swam in the loch - it was wonderful! Lots of other campers fishing & canoeing. Clean clear water, not half as cold as we thought it might be - do be careful with children as the water shelves quite quickly & the loch is deep. Lovely walks in the woods above the site & if we had stayed for longer there were lots of other things to do - Pitlochry & Blair Atholl are close by car. We would return to this beautiful part of Scotland again.

The location of this site is lovely with amazing views across the Loch. We are a large Motorhome and to be honest the drive up to the site was a bit of a white knuckle ride and first impressions were it looked more like a building site!
Facilities are very basic and could do with a thorough clean!
Lots of statics which look like they are there fulltime but all seemed nice friendly people.
Tent people were swimming in the Loch and having a great time. If you have binoculars you can see the Red Dear across the Loch in the evenings.
This is a hard one to review as the location is so lovely but the site itself is so disappointing.

Good site owner very helpful views absolutely stunning. Static residents very helpful enjoyed watching red deer across loch tummel using our binoculars. Approach to site could certainly do with marker saying site is coming up as you come on entrance very suddenly. Toilets could do with updating. Unfortunately no shop but you can purchase gas. Having said this I would return.
Very windy road on approach however local drivers seem to take this into account. Fishing included in price however we had to go into Pitlochry to buy bait. Very peaceful and tranquil site.

9pm, 12 June. At least 21 deer spotted on the other side of the loch! And a 'tame' Arctic tern just wandered up to within 12 feet of us, I didn't realise what beautiful eyes they had! The views from the site are tremendous (just one mile further down the loch than Queen Vic's View) and owners very friendly. Toilet block basic but clean. Very peaceful spot and thoroughly recommended. This site has just shot into my top 10!

Stayed here for 3 night with electric hookup, the pitches were a good size as we had our canopy plus two 3 pole windbreaks.
Located right on Loch Tummel the views from the tent were stunning. The toilet block was warm but a little dated and you will need a car if you want to travel to Pitlochry as its around 7 miles or so away, Killykrankie is also a short drive away.
Nice quiet campsite and would go back again.

What can I say about this campsite. The Views are absolutely wonderful. We camped right at the bottom and had uninterrupted view of Loch Tummel and the hills.
You can even try fishing as you are right on the Loch.
Toilet block absolutely great was never busy and alway clean.
Owner very nice and friendly.
You definitely need transport to get to the nearest pub.
Just a Great Campsite, which I would go back to
