Muddy creek has got to be one of the best campsites I've been to. I'm a Seasoned camper and have visited muddycreek for the past five years because it's such a relaxed set up. The field is large enough that you don't feel cramped at all and they allow camp fires which is a bonus! It's family friendly and thankfully so quiet in the evenings ready for a peaceful sleep. Lovely loos and fantastic showers! It's a short walk into the main village of Milford on sea where there's great little village shops and very nice selection of eateries. Perfectly close to the beach! And a short ten minute drive to either Lymington town or the forest. Booking was no stress and the owners were really accommodating. Definitely recommend as a go to location! See you again next year!

Lovely small campsite, with a great homely relaxed, feel about the whole site. Polly the owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Told us where the footpaths were and recommended some walks. The toilets and showers are basic, but clean and always plenty of hot water. The site is spacious, which is great and spread out across two fields. Enjoyed our campfire every night, and it is very useful you can buy kindling and logs from the campsite office. As we left, my children asked if they could come back again next year. We will be back.

Lovely peaceful campsite, toilet block is in the middle of the field and easy to get to, portacabin style but upmarket and never had to queue.
We were there a very windy weekend but were able to pitch sheltered next to the tree line which was quite calm in comparison to the middle!
Freshly cooked Pizza available on Friday nights, pony's to ride, hot showers (although temp could not be regulated).
Would definitely return if in the area.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Muddy Creek and are definitely returning next year! It is the most relaxing wonderful place I have ever been to. So peaceful, yet all you need! Hot showers, toilets cleaned twice daily, spotless! Huge sinks for washing up, even though there are only 2, there was only a couple of times I needed to queue. Could do with the water staying hotter as the tap run, but it did the job!
Kids had pony rides in the evening and made so many friends too! We loved the fact we could have a campfire and there was so much space around us!
Polly, the owner is lovely and pops round for a chat to check you are okay in the evening, you are left to get on with enjoying your holiday and makes you feel welcomed and respected there.
I couldn't praise the place enough.
Thank you Polly for welcoming us to your lovely pony farm and allowing kids to be kids enjoying themselves!

It was our first time camping, we stayed 2 nights and we would of stayed longer. We loved it and have now got the camping bug!
The owners are very friendly, helpful and flexible. The toilets were excellent; always clean and fully stocked with liquid soap, paper towels and quilted toilet rolls. The showers were free, hot and large enough to get changed in. There were 2 washing up sinks with very hot water. Also the owners sell fire logs to allow campers to have a small camp fire, however you would need to bring a fire basket or something similar. The walk to the beach is quite a trek from the campsite if your not used to walking, but still a lovely little town with the best fish and chips Ive ever tasted! The atmosphere was very relaxed, on arrival you were able to choose a pitch and visit later during office hours to book in. In the evening the owners offered the little ones a free pony ride which my youngest loved.
Basically, if you're after a campsite that's reasonably priced with good facilities in a rural environment, then this campsite should be your choice. We will definitely be back next year!

First time camping and we loved the site. Owners very friendly and helpful. Cabin toilets kept very clean twice daily. Lovely hot showers and wash up facilities. Plenty of space for gazebos as well. Very child friendly. Owners give pony rides to children. Owners come around and chat to all campers and check everything is okay on a daily basis. Village very friendly also. We will be back next year as site is peaceful and relaxing,

Stayed here for 5 nights. The field is really big with plenty of room around each tent. To the centre there are electric hook up's. There is also an over spill field the owner opens when expecting the full allocation of tents, although there is enough room in the main field.
There are now two washing up sinks available both with hot water. The showers are free, very large and never run out of hot water. Although basic they are clean and do the job.
The toilets are in porta-cabins but are clean and well supplied with liquid soap, hot water, toilet rolls, paper hand towels and factor 20 sun cream!
Of a morning and evening the owner sells bags of logs and kindling wood and allows campers to have small camp fires. You can also swap over freezer blocks at the same time.
For the little ones there are free pony rides around a small field of an evening.
Fisher men and women, speak to the owner for the best areas to catch Sea Bass from the shore. I went in a boat with Les Jones see his web site for more details, highly recommended.
The site is ideally located for all attractions around the New Forest and further afield. However, care must be taken when exiting the field onto the main road as it is on a slight bend and although 30mph the cars can approach quickly.
Basically for the price you can't go wrong and the owners are very polite and helpful.

What a great site, very pleasant owner always helpful and the kids loved the horse rides in the evenings.
The showers are clean and are the hottest showers I have come across on a camp site, toilets clean and cleaned twice a day
A fantastic relaxed atmosphere and loads of space for the kids to run around, you are able to choose your own pitch on arrival (unless you have a reserved hook up) and have no pitch boundaries which again is brilliant

Good little campsite for a short stay. Facilities basic, but clean and functional and owners very helpful. They even arranged a free horse ride for all the kids.
The local town - Milford on Sea is handy and I recommend The Smugglers pub. Near to some nice beaches and Hurst Castle. However, head up to Highcliffe on Sea for an RNLI life guarded sandy beach.
A little but noisy from the road, but if you pitch away from it at the end of the field you should be okay.
